Niles made this show he was great with his one liners.🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely 🤣🤣🤣
He was funnier with cc. To me he was funny but when he was with cc. Omg he was funniest. Lol
Plus the faces that he made
My salute to the actor but I bow to the writers 😊
@Bill Kelly she was funny but she ain't no damn Lucille ball. Lucy was hella funny. Fran was a knock off of her.
“The gene pool is saved” funny how he’s the one who got her pregnant later on in the series 😂😂
😆 I thought the same thing.
Spoiler!!
Hanna the finale aired 20 years ago! Not my fault you haven’t watched it yet 🤷🏼♀️
@@xored8813 Thinking the same
"Don't you have anything hard?"
"Not for you"
Oh patience :D hahahaha
C.c. ..." Don't you have anything hard?" Niles:"Not for you." Me to Niles: "Quit lying bro."
So true 😂😂😂 Thanks for this comment 🙏🏻
I have to use this one day 😂😂😂
Yes, it always seems like Niles is protesting too much.
@Carter Atwell He spends SO much time emphasizing how UNdesirable she is, that after a while you realize he means the opposite.
@Carter Atwell He was also...fickle when it came to the people he officially liked. He would tell a secret of Fran's or Max's in a heartbeat if there was something in it for him, and he completely turned on Fran occasionally.
CC’s outfits are to die for
Niles was the unsung hero of this series, and C.C had just the right amount of sass for his wit. Without these two, the show wouldn’t have been as much of a success as it is.
Wow, only now I realize that as a kid watching this show I didn't get 50% of the jokes.
You'll be shocked then with The Simpsons.
Hell I was a teenager when I first saw this show and I didn't get half the jokes either.
:'v I'm not a nativespeaker, currently 23 and still get like half of the jokes :'v
@@MilkandCookies92,my mother may have seen the show, but given how little she knew to speak English(we speak Spanish in our home),and how dependent I was on her knowledge,it took me years(I'd say 7,starting from 2012 to 2019) to finally get some of the jokes-she's now fluent in English, for the most part-,though some jokes still challenge my knowledge to this day.
Same here.
“Even you can do better than you”. Lol. I love niles and cc
"Servant."
"Trollop."
"Bell-boy."
"Brunette."
I was never certain whether the venom or passion was stronger for the entire duration of the show.
Yes
That was my favorite scenes lol
Max: Niles, get that disgusting thing off the terrace would you?
Niles (to CC): Mr. Sheffield wants you to get off the terrace.
This one was my favorite one😂😂😂😂😂😂
The best part is that she did without questioning it😂😂
they should have made a sitcom about niles and cc. they could have pulled it off. absolute chemistry. both are gifted.
Now that would work, not all spinoffs need the starring characters. I would love that.
"That is beneath me sir"
Such brilliant writing and even more brilliant acting
No joke, that fucking sent me 💀
"What are you doing here? The sun is out." 💀💀
I'm gonna be using that now lmaooo
Niles and CC made the show together. They were the show. I love their banters and shading st each other. And even when they ended up together they still came at each other with their shades and banters but in their cute way. Lol.
Funny how they always seemed to have a connection with each other that characters like Max, who were supposed to be popular, didn't have with anyone.
@@jessicalillianweinberg4401 True; Maxwell and Fran were inevitable and forseeable and quickly grew boring. CC and Niles kept each other on their toes with wits and banter, whereas Fran often had the social grace of a drunk rhino and cause Maxwell problems because she was way out of her league.
C.c is beautiful
CC: Niles my eggs are all dried up
Niles: The gene pool is saved
"even you can do better than you". damn that burns lol
I think Niles actually set CC on fire with that one
“Then you should be known worldwide” lmao 🤣🤣🤣
aww the bellboy and brunette together at last
Watching this could cure depression!
Which is funny because, if it were on today, both female characters (and perhaps Max and some of the children) would be seen as having depression.
How dare you say that
@ymarrero23 Depression cured by watching tv shows. ..please!
yes I confirm it works very well for depressions in love after a breakup.
@@KaLuna88 That's a real depression or just a big dip?
These two are my favourite characters from the show.
"What did used to do before I came a long" "my life was rather boring without you but now I have a hobby"
Cc looks amazing, also in that black dress
yup never realized she was packing that much
Especially in that black dress.
She looked really good in a police uniform on Hunter
She looks always amazing.
Such a romantic moment when CC said yes to Niles! And Fran is just laying on the ground in labor 😂😂
These 2 were solid gold together!!! The supporting cast really drove this show. I love grandma Yetta too. Miss this show.
And SYLVIA!!!!
Such clever writing for this show especially with Niles and cc. Very witty and quite naughty at times 🤣
The writers of this show gave Niles the best one-liners 👍
How can you have a list of the best Niles CC moments and not include CC clucking like a chicken or singing the theme song to Popeye?
Oh I know, the clucking chicken was my absolute favorite!
Lynn M that’s why there are 6 videos dedicated to all the burns of niles and cc
And Maxwell telling Niles to take that headious thing out of the balcony
@@BelmontClan "Niles and CC Moments" is not the same thing as "Burns." A compilation of burns/insults doesn't include the moments where they're getting along, or after the start their relationship.
Jessica Lillian Weinberg tell me jessica do you pair niles and cc together?
3:37 C.C. was cute like a model !!!
Ah yes. The OG enemies to lovers
OG? Uh, I think you're forgetting Max and Kyle from Living Single .
Niles & CC are the real star just like Jack and Karen in Will & Grace.
Yeah. Those two are b*tches and i LOVE them.
more like Fran and Niles = Jack and Karen, but I can see CC and Niles as pretty close too, before they became a romantic couple
@@akbarrmd7714 I think their personalities are more alike than Fran and Max's, and the scene I referenced above shows that - they both laugh about CC keeping an acceptance speech short by not thanking anyone. That's funny to both of them. It also kind of suggests that CC doesn't really have much of a facade for the public - at least, not a nice "proper" facade.
C.C is so attractive! Niles and CC are amazing
I truly believe Niles’ voice and attitude was the inspiration for Stewie, from Family Guy.
I thought I heard that Stewie was based on Rex Harrison from My Fair Lady, but I could be wrong.
Kerrie Thompson You’re not wrong Seth MacFarlane has said so himself
YES!!!!!
My primary reason for watching that show when it originally aired was to watch all of the Niles/CC burns. LOL
"That is beneath me sir" 😂😂
Fair enough.
Best burn ever 🤣
CC: Niles my eggs are all dried up
NILES: the gene pool is saved.
Dead 😂😂😂
I still think the most brilliant thing about Niles is that Daniel Davis is actually American.
Did not know that!
And the funny thing is, the guy who played Mr. Sheffield is actually British, and he got tons of letters in the beginning telling him to work on his British accent and be more like the guy who played Niles XD
@@billbombshiggy9254 ,actually isn't he Irish?
@@albertoswald8461 could have sworn he was British. I don't know his name or id look it up
@@billbombshiggy9254 , I think that it's Charles Shaughnessy if I remember correctly.
"Don't you have anything hard?"
"Not for you"
Says the man who asked her to marry him like 5 times
Not to mention all the places they did that...
XD
Yeah but that was a mistake the writers made. I pretend it didn't happen lol.
At 2:36; I love CC's evil laugh!
Or...
CC (after seeing two Frans):
Good God it's multiplying!
LOL! 😄😄😄😄
How I would love to see Niles and Jeffrey from the Fresh Prince doing a roast show together. 😂
PoPcOrn PoPs that would be epic
Yes YES!
That would have been awesome like if they would have had Niles in the butler reunions or something
Don't forget Dorothy from Golden Girls 😅
That would be Awesome
In reality, CC is beautiful with a great body.
C.C: "I LOATHE YOU!"
Niles: "I DESPISE YOU!
C.C: "SERVANT!"
Niles: "TROLLOPE!"
C.C: "BELLBOY!"
Niles: BRUNETTE! Lol
They left out the best part of that scene: Max and Fran walk in on them (note the front door conspicuously in frame), and after they come up for air, there's one last volley:
CC: "Swine."
Niles: "Chicken."
The Brunette SENT ME OVER lol
I dont get the brunnette part.. why is it funny? Because it is implied that she dye her hair.
@@andreashakim4258 Yeah. Niles is insinuating that she dyes her hair because she's vain and afraid of losing her youth.
@@Landis963 Or maybe she thinks Maxwell Sheffield wanted someone younger and blonder! LOL! 😁😁😁😁
When witty banter turn into romance... I don't think we'll ever laugh again...
I somehow knew this would be left for the ending of the show
Niles, the king of comebacks! Love these two.
After Al Bundy.
"That is beneath me sir!"
That had me laughing.
" That's beneath me sir " 🤣🤣
When he touched her with the gloves... 😂😂😂😂
Niles is my favorite character of the show he's the reason it's considered a comedy
I agree! But all his golden one liners were thrown at CC so i guess for me its both of them. :)
C. C. looked so good in that black dress. I wonder how many younger viewers at the time understood the "Rochester" reference.
I don't understand, what does it mean
Rochester is main character from romantic book Jane Eyre written by Charlotte Bronte
@@chelseaxoxo784 Rochester was the butler (plus valet, chauffeur etc) on The Jack Benny Program, radio and TV.
Cc: Well, aren't you gonna say anything?
Niles: what? Because she said you thought I was gonna say something bout you not being a women? That is beneath me sir.
And Fran was like😅😆
Oh what are you doing here, the sun is up! 😂
The best moment between these two would be the dirty coffee scene. That was pure evil genius.
Banter is one thing, but I didn't like some of the pranks...some of them seemed like he could actually be endangering her. Unless when he says he's done something, he's joking and hasn't really.
@@jessicalillianweinberg4401 Uh, it's a sitcom, you realize that it's all silly fun and not real, don't you? Lighten up, geez lol.
You got me that time, followed by touching her with those gloves. Niles won that exchange by a country mile :)
He says, "You got me," but she really didn't? To be honest, that was one thing I didn't like about how they were written. With a relationship that's love-hate like this, it works better if they can both "get" each other. If one is winning all the time it feels more...mean. And Niles sometimes involved the kids in teasing CC, which doesn't seem right, especially since CC didn't have anyone to help her. That turned it into "everyone picks on CC" instead of "Beatrice and Benedick."
He often did seem to touch her at the same time he insulted her.
@@jessicalillianweinberg4401Not really, since CC wasnt that great to the kids either. If they'd just been randomly joining in it wouldve been more mean-spirited, but considering how she acted in the first few seasons (which is when most of the kids involvement took place) it makes sense.
@@bluebay1031 It makes sense but it doesn't make it okay.
can't get enough of this show
Niles made the show. Plus he has a great voice. Loved him
I saw Niles open those doors and said 'DAMN! That dog wants his bone-!'
For most of the series there were indications about him not being physically strong or in good shape. Were they just jokes? He did have a heart attack at the end of season 4. Plus, there are three episodes in season 6 where he and CC are "seeing each other" and so blissfully happy they are different people (there is one where CC tells Fran what a great physical relationship she and Niles have)....actually the changes to their personalities take a lot of the wit out of the show. But in the finale they are more like the "old" Niles and CC, although together. I think the finale was actually shown (and perhaps written) before the episodes about their relationship, and there were some inconsistencies, so it felt like two different continuities.
So, he's probably physically stronger than we thought - maybe the lines about him being unfit physically are the same as the jokes about her being ugly - untrue.
The truth is I never noticed it back then but cc was quite busty 😍
“Brunette.” 🤣
That is beneath me sir ! Gets me rolling all the time
I miss this show soooooo much!!!!!
She was so stylish!!!
Their zingers were just hilarious
Well, well... Looks like I missed 80% of the jokes, those meant for grown-ups, as a kid XD
You got that right. He was hilarious. He had some of the funniest one liners I've ever heard. They had a list of them on my tablet. The 25 funniest ones. Hysterical.
Niles : Unwanted dirt just slides right off.
C.C. : *falls off the edge of the couch*
Raph ( my Vampire OC) : It wasn't wrong, though
Me : *wheeze*
4:11 "You realise, of course, now I'm going to have to kill you."
"Even you can do better than you" Lmao
Niles, my eggs are all dried up! Niles:"The gene pool is safe" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh Ioved my childhood because of this
The best of Lauren Lane (C.C, Babcock) and Daniel Davis(Niles) ❤️♥️♥️❤️❤️❤️😂🤣😂Love is in the air!
Few years ago, Daniel Davis stated Niles and C.C. being married did not make any sense because the characters were like oil and water.
I'm surprised none of the major streaming services have added the series to their lineup (by major I mean Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max)
Honestly I had been waiting for netflix to do this
pluto tv has it but you gotta be from the US or have VPN of some sort to use it, saying that though seems to be completely free.
It’s on Roku channel !!
It's on HBO max now
@@DMH62291 Sweet
I watched this show because of Niles, he was the best character.
What about cluck like a chicken?! That is my favorite cc niles scene ever
C.C ♥️♥️♥️
This is where my love for "enemies to lovers " trope came from
I think my favorite is when C.C. asks Niles for tea repeatedly and then when Maxwell walks in Niles offers it to C.C. and she yells at him and Maxwell is appalled.
Niles must have older siblings!?
Noo, when CC has a cup on the counter and Niles squeezes the dish rag into it then she picks it up and says it's for Maxwell
Niles always had the last words.
thank you very much , CC and Niles are really the most hilarious characters of the show. I would have added the scene with "the old nipples" in my favourite moments, but there are so many...!
"that is beneath me, sir"
I know we were supposed to see CC as meaner earlier on and "softening up" over the years. But I actually often like her in the early clips, because she does seem...tougher. We see her sometimes really taking charge of the business, and either she "gets" Niles more, or, even if she doesn't, she doesn't seem upset by things she does. Because they used a stay at a mental health "place" to cover the actress' maternity leave, they had her be really upset by Niles in late season 5...but then they went back to how they were before, where it seemed more like a game.
I always think of the little broadway song that he sings with C.C. helps. The moment when e sings the line "but I'm in heaven". I love the look between them, it is so cute.
CC was a knockout.
I like #1. Makes me cry so much!
Every single one liner that Niles throws are always so godamm funny!
And not all of them are even directed at CC.
Jessica Lillian Weinberg True, ha ha
One of the best comic rivalries in any show.
I looooved how she said: While Im taaaaaaalking🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He always cracked me up on this show. Lol
loved Niles and CC together!!
Too cute....
Best show ever!
Niles is the main show here and Niles is the main show on Frasier. Hmmm.
4:19 After those words, he gained the strength of million men to rip open that elevator door.
He was so fantastic!!
Ich liebe die Serie!❤
I’m a huge fan of The Nanny
It's been years since I've watched the Nanny with my mom growing up. Oh man, Niles is savage AF!
They have greatest conversation in a tv show history
They were one of the cutest sitcom otps
I love you, Niles! ❤️❤️❤️
I loveeeee cc
Niles: The undisputed KING of snark!
