    Haha adrian watching this made me feel like a kid as well. I remember fishing tide pools with a bit of crushed up mussel on a tiny hook tied to a tiny length of mono. Caught many a small goby and small crabs that way. Wonderful memories… I’ll have to try out some surf bfs sometime as we don’t have too many tide pools up in my area of socal. Anyhow, cheers and thanks for the trip down memory lane!

    Nice video. Would love some more closeups of the fish. Also, that's a great rod. I have the spinning version of it and it's great, especially for the price.

      I do need to remember to take some close ups with my phone, it takes much better pics than lifting it off the video. Thanks for your support Nomad

    Definitely going to give my BFS rod a go for LRF it’s not been used since I move to Cornwall

      Just another way of doing it. I think it is easier with spinning gear but there is a certain satisfaction to mastering it.

    Great video buddy, I thoroughly enjoyed it. May I ask what bait you were using at the beginning please.
    I usually use pieces of ragworm but it'll be good to know of a substitute.

      It was pieces of Ecogear Aqua Shirasu. You can get them from Jonny Lerfer I’ve put a link in the description

    What are the liquids that you soak the lures in?

    • @TheConstantAngler
      @TheConstantAngler  Год назад +1

      The lures come in resealable packets with a liquid in them. Or you can get the Maryku or Isome liquid separately www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125487456180?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pfnL4A5ySeW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY or www.chesilbaitntackle.co.uk/ecogear-aqua-replacement-liquid-33808-p.asp

      @@TheConstantAngler Great thanks for reply, they don’t post to Northern Ireland but. I have some adji worms but I’m not sure if they are pre soaked or have some kind of scent on them.
