    This video is awesome. Not only the lizards themselves, but your commentary and everything! You guys talking about the whole process of getting to know them, understand their needs and nuances. Komodo dragons have had such an incredibly massive impact on the way even researchers perceive lizards. Love the respect you're giving them, thanks for sharing :)

    Crazy that that male Komodo is still only a baby yet he seems as big if not bigger than the maximum size a lot of other monitor species reach, really shows how huge they actually get. One of the most amazing animals on the planet, easily in my top 10 favourite animals.

    I really loved seeing the little dude do all his stomping around with you guys in the cage. He's going to be SOMETHING when he gets older and BIGGER! A force to be reckoned with!

    I can tell that with continued gentle handling, that male is going to tame up really nicely. He has such a great disposition already.

    Hi Kenan Love all of your trips to different facilities, to see, and be educated about each reptile. I think that the komodo is amazing. I have learned so much from the kamp. That people do not realize how intelligent, and social that they can be.♥️🐊🦎🐍🐢Cindy

    I need to get to St. Augustine! It looks to be such a good and enriching place for animals and their visitors. The Kamodo is one of my most favorite reptiles. I love that we got to see her during her egg laying process. Very fun and informative! ♡

    We have quite a large collection of Komodo Dragons at the Memphis Zoo; and, if I’m not mistaken, one of the largest breeding programs in the US, if not the world.

    Beautiful. They really move different than even croc monitors, though I guess the arboreal vs terrestrial forest dwelling maybe has something to do with that. Their snout is even similar but different than a croc monitors up close. Very cool! Can't wait to see updates, and pray they have success with their breeding programs.

      I don’t think it’s legal to have them in a private collection, especially here in Florida. If I’m wrong, someone correct me. 😊

      @@loriw2661 It would be incredibly difficult/expensive to meet their complex needs too, but I believe you are correct about the legality due to their CITES status. Availability would also be incredibly limited due to lack of importation and limited reproduction in captivity.

    Oh ya gotta pay close attention to what ur animals tell ya even the most minute things especially a dangerous animal like her cause that could mean the difference between one going home and one losing a limb lmao cause that infectious bite would not be good at all omg
