I always enjoy the first episode of your server plays. Simply because I get to hear familiar voices, like old friends. And then they slowly dwindle until it's just dire and Soaryn with an occasional guest visit.

Forgecraft2 S8 Ep2: A New Hope
It is a period of dimensional war. Rebel forgecrafters, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the OP Minecrafter Direwolf20. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to Direwolf’s ultimate weapon, the AE SYSTEM, an armored storage station with enough power to destroy an entire world.
Pursued by Direwolf20’s agents, Soaryn races home aboard his Super Soaryn Drive, custodian of the stolen plans that can save his people and restore freedom to the dimensions….

NanobotZ EnderZoo has created a mob that called the Khndrel Keght (not a typo). in the config it is called a Dire Slime. It has a chance to spawn when a dirt block is broken without a shovel. Was probably made to teach dire a lesson :P

Best way to protect the lava is to put it in a mystcraft age and then through away the book that connects to the age.

Dire I've been using opis on my server and yes ender pumps pumping lava out of the nether are greedy for time, but you know what else is? Endertanks, they use upto 15 microsecs each, which quickly adds up when you have loads. I've decided to switch to tesseracts on my server.
This was the best start to forge craft EVER. XD
Maybe the first try the tank didnt fill instantly, because the receiving duct was never filled completely, untll you retried it (where you only placed the tank new, and the old duct filled completely meanwhile

hey dire, if you use enderpearls you can glitch through bedrock... if you look at it and spam some enderpearls you will go right through
you can also destroy bedrock with dark oak saplings

I've found that pumping into a full ender tank can have quite a toll on the tick rate itself.
I've never thought about how weird it is that you get apples from oak trees until now.
They should just add apple trees and acorns.

woohoo S8 of forgecraft woop i wish you could play with thaumcraft and and show us the new stuff in it with some automating and i dont know really i would like to see you with some new mods ones that we never seen (and if you have them in the direwolf20 mod pack it would be event cooler) some blood magic and get to the tier 6 alter and show us what you can do with it and wel.. thats it well have a good one dire i look forward for the next episode :3

Direwolf, Your early game is a waste of resorces, all you need is a wooden pick, not full wooden tools, just jump to stone, then get iron asap

lucxy55 Personally, I use a wooden pickaxe to mine 3 stone blocks and then make a stone pickaxe. Dire does it his way because #reasons, #direness, and anything else that means he plays in his own unique playstyle. If you can't accept that, kindly go play videos from someone who plays it the way you want! I want to see Dire playing in his playstyle, and however he does it is always going to be a good thing to me! :D

When 20 people have them and Fireball and Soaryn happen it all stacks. In general, chunkloading other dimesions causes tons of lag.
***** Several people using them means that each person is chunkloading their own section of the nether, and excessive chunkloading causes lag.
***** here is what everyone always get wrong: its not the pump that usually causing lag, its chunkloading update always causes lag.

Use a force field from RFtools for the lava buckets and have bedrock around the controller so no one can get too it

Dire, you should output a creative tank directly into the ender tank without the ducts..

+PhilGoodInc essentially they were having an argument that boils down to one side saying that they only need the tesseract because they can cheat one in for their lava setup, and the other side saying that the ender tank should be direct connected to the creative tank for the early game lava since as far as im aware people would prefer to set up legit transfer solutions. the rest is just people misunderstanding or disagreeing.
There should be a NEW ForgeCraft 1 series again, theres enough mods to have for 1.8 that you can have a proper server :D

why bedrock? awakened ichorium pickaxes from thaumic tinkerer can cut through that on square mode, it removes every bedrock except the one you're trying to mine

I never understood people's need for lava in huge quantities, lava's always just been a stop-gap method to getting better power gen for me.
Hell, I was even on a server where I made a HUGE ethanol plant that could provide EVERYONE with the ethanol they needed for power gen, and some guy still insisted that his "incredibly inefficient MFR lava gen system" was going to be the one that people would rely on.
It's like "Nah it's cool guys, go ahead and use his system that uses more power than you'll ever get out of it on top of not producing that much energy, I'll just sit here on my 4 large steel tanks of ethanol that was created in a few hours and still produces more than enough to not only run the bases of 3 people and then-some, but also powers itself. :/"

That was more a comment on the "Wow this isn't all that fast" bit. There's so many other easy to get into power-gen systems that one realistically shouldn't be suckling the lava teet for too long anyway.

Depends on your modpack. I've used Engineer's Toolbox to generate hydrogen from algae farms which is plenty to feed a high-pressure boiler. As long as you have a sufficient storage tank for excess hydrogen for the night cycle, it's essentially high-output solar power that requires no resources other than the ones used to build it, and can be expanded/accelerated with various growth-tick enhancement items such as Lily-pad of Fertility, Lamp of Growth, etc.
The point is you don't need to have huge power in early production, just enough to get some ore doubling/smelting going on, which a couple of lava engines are fine for, but you shouldn't need it in huge amounts, because by the time you do you should have plenty of resources to look into steam, which should last until you get into even higher energy production.
So... i was just playing tekkit... and i came across a door which pillars and it was Dimensional doors. I thought cool! so i went through it. And then i was in a room with 4 doors. so i went in 1 of them. i was like NOPE NOPE NOPE for 5 mins on the otherside... scary shit
So is there anything different / new about this season mod wise? Besides Bluepower being replaced by Project Red? I feel like the last few Forgecraft seasons were a bit lacking in terms of new stuff.
Can you please do something with rail craft like setting up a rail network with trains on it hooked up to quarries and stuff please!!

btw ther is an hopper upgrade for the jabba barrels the used it in (let me lie) season6 (were they first lived in the uumatter ocean and then in the void world together with fireball)

As far as I know, the transvector interface just... tranfers any signal sent to it to the block its connected to (i.e. when you pipe into the transvector interface, you are *actually* piping into the block its connected to, as far as the game is concerned, just the pipe doesn't have to be 1 block away).
I kinda agree with there's no such thing as OP in minecraft. It's only really OP if you stop having fun, and if you're not having fun doing it the easy/"OP" way, why are you doing it that way instead of using more difficult/fun options? I mean dire is always trying to do things in a more difficult/complicated/"fun" way than is technically the easiest/most efficient. There's nothing stopping anybody else from simply choosing not to do things the "OP" way, except their own self control.
If it's a matter of how other people are using it that bugs you then I say just ignore it unless they're using it /against/ you and ruining your own fun, in which case I wouldn't play with those people.

I have a question about lag: if I put 32 Thermal Expansion dynamos and 4 energy cells, along with a bunch of fluiducts, fluxducts, and redstone to make them work, all in the same chunk, will that cause noticeable lag?

liam habani It's called server lag. The other is fps lag. They just want to decrease the server lag as much as possible, since it's quite annoying when you break a block let's say and you don't get anything. Not to say when you work with machines and wiring... It's just frustrating, so it's good they took precautions.
