GO GO CURRY IS THE BEST. I frigging love them. I love that when you get katsu curry there, the katsu actually has katsu sauce on top of it, in addition to the amazing curry the beautifully crisped katsu slices are swimming in -- and the mixture of perfect curry with perfect katsu sauce is just PERFECT. Add to that a mountain of cabbage that complements the whole meal nicely (and is green, therefore making it healthy!), and bam. You have yourself one of the best curry plates in Japan.

From watching these videos, I get the impression that Kansai food has more differences from Kanto food than I thought. Notice a lot of subtle (and not so subtle) differences. I travel to the Kanto area 3-4 times a year but have only been to Osaka twice in the past 60 years.
I was served by robots like that at Makimono, a small Japanese restaurant chain near Toronto Canada. Like many Canadians, I'm instinctively polite, so I said, "Thank you" to them every time.
Salads are for rabbits ... We get the nutrients from the animals we eat that eat em. When i eat salad i have to use the bathroom, n no its not cleansing it, its an allergy
It's not property right infringement, the triforce just wasn't actually drawn by Nintendo and you can find it all over Japan. Enoshima is covered in triforces, for example. Several medieval Japanese families had triforces as their kamon, and at least one had a triforce of triforces.
I ate at a Gusto in Kawaguchiko. I didn’t know about the robot waiter thing so I got too excited. It positioned itself wrong at my table to I couldn’t see the button to send it back so it was just jangling at me in Japanese for three minutes until a staff member came and hit the button. That place had the best bread.
The food at those "family" restaurants in Japan looks amazing!! I swear here in the US we have damn good food, but the peices are killing me! You cant even get a Big Mac meal for less then $10!!!
I had a gusto a couple blocks from my apartment in Wako-shi that was pretty far from everything. It was a super residential/off of a highway type area. Gusto was one of the only restaurants nearby with just a McDonald's half a mile away as a second option, and a 7-eleven or Lawson down the road in opposite directions. Gusto was my go-to after super long days where I had no energy to cook, but desired a great meal. I miss their garlic chicken and tofu-kimchi app....AND kakigori in the summer 🥲🥲

You can actually get that robot yourself. My uncle has one in his restaurant though the pat thing setup is quite annoying when. Furniture is moved
