I remember first hearing the song watching the movie Cellular. The song was amazing, almost hypnotizing. The movie was pretty good.
First time i heard that music was at the movies watching Miami Vice (2006) I just loved this son beside the fact that it plays for like 40 seconds in the beggining of the movie.
I remember that music today and I'm really happy to find it here! Great song, great singer, great remix!

I agree! I first heard this version in the movie Cellular (with Chris Evans and Jason Statham) and immediately loved! I can't hear it and not think of that movie which I also loved.

The lyrics are actually based on Revelation 6:16 from the Holy Bible. A scary visualization of Judgement Day and hence the reason to the title of this song, "Sinnerman" when sinner"men" will ask for the rocks to hide them from God.

The original cut of this song from 1956 was ahead of its time and a pretty aggressive song for the era. The tempo alone wasn’t all that common. This was sort of heavy metal for the era, at least in terms of sheer brute force. An amazing tune and so many killer covers including Felix Da Housecat’s version!

es una gran representacion de lo que es la vida cristiana...una carrera y ser como un niño sin padecer de los pecados..gran video..gran cancion..simplemente me encanta :)
Cierto, no lo había visto de esa manera después de 12 años que vi el video ahora lo entiendo. Entre más grande seas más tentaciones tendrás y si accedes a ellas vas dirigiéndote camino al infierno, por eso quien rechaza el pecado se va haciendo como un niño para entrar al cielo y poder ver a Dios. Y sí, es una carrera de lucha y de toda la vida para alcanzar la santidad, pero muchos se quedan en el camino por aceptar el pecado y se van alejando de la meta que es "Dios". Ahora que sé un poco de Dios y la Iglesia lo comprendo mucho mejor y quedé asombrado con esta representación. Muy buen video.

These sins are the deadly sins because they harm yourself at the same time you harm others. Gluttony for example indicates you consume too much which when all material things are finite means in or order to feed your gluttony others must do without. Pride is a very special one,why it was Lucifer's own sin. Pride (in the biblical sense) means you place yourself above all others, therefore you falsely build yourself up higher than humanly possible and often to achieve this one knocks others down so that climb isn't such a long climb. Lucifer placed himself above God, and brought down 1/3 of the angels with him.
The "pride" you are likely referring to is really self actualization which in and of itself is not a sin but it's a dangerous gateway to pride if it grows beyond moderation.
These sins represent the extremes. Extremism almost always leads to ruin.
