Zoom G3X looper demo: All Along the Watchtower (cover)

- This is a cover of Bob Dylan's classic 'All Along the Watchtower', although it's much more like Jimi Hendrix's version. I'm using a Zoom G3X looper, going through its amp sim, reverb, distortion, and wah effects. The signal from the Zoom was recorded via Apogee Jam in an iPad Air 2, then transferred into Logic Pro 9 but NOT processed again or mastered. This was just so that I could use my Macbook to record the vocals at the same time, then stick them over the top. So this really is the actual Zoom you're hearing. Here are the patch settings if you want to recreate the sound yourself:
1: Pedal Wah - Freq 15, DryMX 18, Level 100
2: T Scream - Gain 99, Tone 50, Level 36
3: Booster (not used in demo but good for solos, though perhaps having it mapped to the looper button wasn't the greatest idea) - Gain 28, Tone 42, Level 100
4: VX Combo (amp sim) - Gain 17, Tube 40, Level 129, Treble 35, Middle 79, Bass 81, Prese 0, CAB VX COMBO 2x12
5: Stereo Delay (not used in demo)
6: Arena Reverb - Decay 15, Tone 7, Mix 56, PreD 90, Level 100.

Spot on there. I've had mine for a couple of years now. Being a bedroom recorder I get everything I need from this unit. I'd have no doubts that it could be used live.

vocal-wise you like Eric Johnson. Guitar-wise your yourself, excellent playing... nice demo, this influences me about the pedal, I am deciding whether to get one.
Thank you :) The pedal is awesome but just so you know, the expression pedal does seem to consistently break. I've had one break, then be fixed and break again, and another break too. But while it works, it's superb. It is still playable, just develops a 'blip' where 0-3% goes from 0-100% and then 4-100% seems to be again 0-100%. Very strange, but always the same problem. It actually makes quite a nice squelch on wah, but obviously messes up pitchshifting.
