I watched this with a bunch of friends,. We got so stoned watching this vid. I went to the store for some smokes and a 6pk, I came back home with a case of beer, 4 pizzas and some hotties. It took me half an hour before I realized I was at my neighbors, jamming to this same vid. :) IKR ! it musta been the roses ?

Overall, this was a great Fourth of July show at Foxboro, but it was still early in the tour and Dylan did not have his shit completely together. The boys were chuckling and shaking their heads trying to figure out where he was going some of the time.
Grateful to have seen one of the 1987 shows, but this could have been so much better. Their busy schedules limited rehearsal time, and the large venues didn't help. Saw them at 100,000 seat JFK, and even the Dead couldn't sound their best at that place. Weir joked that they must've rehearsed 100 Dylan songs, some of them even twice !!

You can hear Brent on the organ really well in this version. Jerry is just other worldly on his guitar. Nice to hear the poet sing his own song, too.
