The Fundamental Symbolism of the Pageau Brothers: A Close Reading of "The Language of Creation"

This is the first video in a series of close readings of Matthieu Pageau's book "The Language of Creation: Cosmic Symbolism in Genesis".
This book is the key that opens the door to a Symbolic Worldview within which we are still situated, yet have so much trouble perceiving.
Jarring us out of our materialist reductionist paradigm, Part I of the book is entitled "Salvaging Creation from the Scientific Worldview". In it Matthieu sets up his project by juxtaposing the materialist and spiritual perspectives, in order to show how being so hyperfocused on the former has alienated us from the latter.
By reverse engineering the "Copernican Revolution", Matthieu takes us all the way back to the origins of Primordial Man in the Garden of Eden. From there we are reintroduced to the Language of Creation, with the help of concise diagrams illuminating Biblical passages, with the intention of piecing together a fragmented worldview, initiated by the Fall of Man, and intensified by the Scientific Revolution.
Science itself is not a topic of scorn in the book, yet "scientism" is rightfully treated with short shrift.
Part II is entitled "Heaven and Earth in Biblical Cosmology" and it elucidates the fundamental code of 'Heaven' and 'Earth', which goes on to structure the rest of the book and ultimately makes manifest the oddly present yet very lost spiritual worldview.
Do not let terms like "Biblical" or "Creation" turn you off if you consider yourself a serious person of science. In fact, you should read this book especially if you are a scientific minded person. Matthieu is himself an engineer.
This book will not only reintroduce you to the the ancient cosmological worldview, it will help you think more clearly about your current worldview- and potentially unlock doors that you didn't even know existed, let alone were closed.
