Hello! I have been entertaining grandkids and having a fun summer but life is getting busier thru August. I hope you have a fun filled week ahead! Thank you for posting your video and for all that you do for the quilting community!
Contact the passport office and ask for their advice on how to fix it. They may just have you send a revised application to replace the wrong one. Can’t hurt to ask.
I am currently working on my long arm quilting Christmas Quilts for family in Texas. A grinch, Santa and country Christmas. I am doing them all free motion. I am in the process of doing a quilt along with Pat Sloan. Trying to keep busy in the summer heat.
Becky, I can definitely relate to your boo-boo with filling out your passport renewal. I sent my passport renewal yesterday and hope I didn't do something similar. I forgot to make a copy of my application!
You hit the nail on the head. With so much going on we forget to slow down and it usually ends up costing us, one way or another. I really enjoy your channel. So many videos I watch over and over. My Girlfriends quilt shop in Salt Lake is owned by Kim of Kimberbells twin sister Chris. I ran right over and picked up the stuff for the table toppers. You inspired me!! BTW 1963 is a great year!! I made my appearance that year too. If your ever in SLC come sew something.
I like Villa Rosa too. I told my quilt club at my LQS that I lead that they had an app…. Everyone was sooo excited! I told my club peeps to watch your RUclips, they will enjoy it as much as I do!!
Thanks Becky so happy when you post! I don't think the tan fabric borders goes with the VR quilt. Love, love, love the Beach walk Halloween panel quilt. Can't wait to see what the FQS Sal is about. I love all their quilt sals.
Hi Becky. I just finished my very first long arm quilt on my brand new machine. I’m so proud. It’s a baby quilt for my new grandson coming in September. Love all your tips and tricks. You go girl.
HI Becky, Always like the things you show and share. I think the Oklahoma quilt may need a small solid color enter border and then the larger printed border. I just love the quilt you showed the picture of. It really is different, looking forward to seeing how you make it come to life. Becky don't be too hard on yourself about the mistake you made, I say that because I'm always checking my SS# to make sure it's correct. Hang in there it will be alright, stuff happens. I have a number of tops; I'm wanting to get put together, so that is what I'm working on getting done. As well as making a few cross-stitch smalls projects. Be blessed, relax and have fun quilting..........Alberta from Southern MD
You've motivated me to get back into my sewing room. Haven't sewn a stitch in a couple of weeks! If the person who sent the coin purse is reading this... Did you use a pattern? It is adorable and would love to make one. I like that the zip pocket on the back instead of inside the purse with the cards and bills.
How about a small, solid green border? Green is my favorite color, so, there’s that. 😀 I think the solid would help break up the busy fabrics. Don’t feel embarrassed about having a bedspread on your bed. I have had material to make a king size quilt for my bed, but end up making and gifting to others. Or, I get squirrel moment and start on something that was not even on my make list! 😜
Hi Becky! Working on a rag quilt for my first great grandbaby. That's what my granddaughter requested. She will also get an appliqued one as a surprise. That's next.
Did the event and it was wonderful. Bought my magnetic hoop and thread ripper from that show. Don’t know how I missed this blog especially since there was a turtle. Lol! I do love the chicken salad quilt. I also watched another event where it showed how to add the stippling around an item in Embrillance. I don’t why I’m having a hard time getting nerve to get it done. Wow! The Halloween quilt is something else.
I hear you. My Chicken Salad needs to go on the longarm and I find I'm putting anything and everything on their first before I start that ginormous quilt. But I'm sure once I get going, I'll think, "Now why did I procrastinate so long?" :)
Hope you only have to wait until September, my husband had to wait 5 months. Submitted in June 2021, had to express it and got it mid October. Good luck.
praying it works out with the passport renewal! Have you ever done the sew along with Gnome Angel? It's called 100 days 100 blocks, and the one about to start is called Kinship! I'm excited, just bought my pattern for it!
It sounds like you are just swamped! You really do need to take a break, even if for an afternoon. I wish I could say I’m sewing, but I moved about 5 weeks ago and my new sewing room was full of boxes until yesterday. I’m finally unpacking supplies and I’ll be picking up more storage cubes from IKEA tomorrow. (I’m lucky that I live only 40 minutes away from their store!). Your videos have been a lifeline during this move! I’ve loved watching your adventures and greatly enjoy listening to your chats. Thank you for all you do!
I love all the quilts you make!! Today I finished up a quilt for Project Linus. I was asked to make bigger quilts because they don’t get a lot for older children. I freemotion on my sit down Longarm, I think I’m getting muscles from manipulating the quilt around. I really enjoy you and your channel.
Becky, check into getting a fast passport. My grandson did that in Virginia. Got his passport in a matter of days. It is done in several locations, I am not sure where.
We all have done something like that at one time or another. But you still make time to say hello. That is commendable. I have been putting chicken salad together. Buying fabric for Bee Happy Quilt by Lori Holt. So lets just got sew something and Bee Happy.🙂
I love your Villa Rosa quilt. I'm not so sure about the border fabric. I'm working on a quilt with a panel in the center. I used DBJJ Bears and Trees to quilt it, and now have to add the label, an applique eagle, and binding.
I wold put an inner border on first then a second border. But I would pick something brighter then what you showed. But that's just me. Love, love your videos.
Becky, the Halloween quilt is amazing … you are a speed-demon on getting those done! On the one with border concern, I don’t think that border fabric is right for that quilt, I would audition others and maybe use the tan for binding. Something with more POP is needed. I agree you should contact passport support … surely they have option to amend your form like the tax people do! Good luck.
Hi Becky! I'm in love with the panel and canvas - that's a cool idea. I just finished embroidering 7 t shirts for family up in Michigan and we're headed to the U.P. later this week for 10 days. I embroidered them with "It's a flip flop kind of summer!" with appliqued flip flops in patriotic fabric. They turned out really nice. Right now we're baking here in Kansas but I'm looking for cooler weather in Michigan.
Hi Becky, I watch You all the time I just love what you do. I live at Coutts Crossing in NSW Australia It is very cold here at moment we have our fire going every day.
I have to work in an area for a while before I decide the best layout. I had a "woodland wonder" layer cake I made into a quilt using a villa rosa pattern, can't remember the name off hand, it's ready to do edge-to-edge quilting on. I put together a "Home on the Range" panel that needs a border and then quilted. I have a Dresden plate quilt to put together, and in between I am working on a crumb quilt. I made a patriotic table runner by the 4th. I have a list of things I want to do. Lol
I finally got my Simply Applique installed today. As soon as I got it in the mail my computer had Brother to get it installed as it wasn't showing the area to download it.
The first thing that came to my mind when you showed the fat quarter bundle called alpine tundra shade (I think that is what you said, the first fat quarter bundle) was the lighter colors would look great in the quilt that you want to make for your bed at the coast. I think that would be a great start to the color palate you described. I enjoy watching your videos. Have a great day!
I love the panel with all of those sea creatures on it! They will make beautiful “paintings” on those canvasses! What a great idea. I had planned to do something quite similar to that for our guest bathroom but I had not been able to find the right fabric. I will keep looking. It’s out there somewhere, I just have to find it. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Sorry about your passport mess. I know what that is like. And I do stuff like that as well. Hope you don’t find a need for your passport before it comes! 😆
Well I talk back to you all the time. When you said the wrong date ….I did as you did. I am about to finish a baby quilt. Next is a quilt for my granddaughter. I think that will be it for quilts everything is so expensive. Love your chats.
Hello from Australia always love watching your videos, hope you do a video about putting the fabric on the canvas boards. I think a small solid border before the floral would look much better. Off to make some minky loveys, have watched your video couple of times but will probably have it running while i make the first one. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Love the pumpkin quilt it is adorable. I must tell you that I laughed about the thread in that quilt, even though the panto was perfect for it, that has happened to me several times and I was afraid my thread would run out before the quilt was done, eek. Lol. You may have to chalk the $160 up to same as a charity quilt and move on grudgingly. By the way you asked us about projects, well I have been doing so many things that I got behind on my QOV’S so am working on them this week. Tops this week and quilting them next week. I made 26 last year but probably 10 this year. So many projects not enough hours, ha. LOVE, THE PROCESS. Have a great week, Green Bananas. Oh by the way, my husband told me last week at the grocery store that as old as I am now I shouldn’t even buy Bananas might not even get home before kicking the bucket. I told him that was not happening because I can’t that hard anymore. Lol.
Love your inspiration picture for your coastal bedroom. Your fabrics are delicious too. Also, regarding the quilt you made last weekend …plain 1st border then the companion print. Love it. That’s my suggestion.
Hi i am working on having a outdoor sale this Saturday of all the things I made. I am tired, putting sale prices on everything. I have a ton of stuff, hope to sell to get more money for more supplies. It is a circle to keep my hobby going.
Yes, but it was very early in my RUclips journey. RUclips has buried it and I can't find it. If I can't find it, then you can't either. Perhaps I'll make another. :)
Love the sound effects!
Acupuncture is great for stress!!
Love watching
Ha, we all do stupid things at times! 😀
Needs solid border so cute
Hello! I have been entertaining grandkids and having a fun summer but life is getting busier thru August. I hope you have a fun filled week ahead! Thank you for posting your video and for all that you do for the quilting community!
I think yes on a border also, thank you for all you do to inform and teach us. you are so giving and very talented. Have a very nice day!
Contact the passport office and ask for their advice on how to fix it. They may just have you send a revised application to replace the wrong one. Can’t hurt to ask.
Definitely a border. Love the panel idea for the decor.
Working on the Designs by JuJu ITH Chicken table runner.
Maybe a green inner border?
Love the idea of the nautical wall art with fabric!
I love watching your videos. I get much inspiration.
I’m getting stuff together to start on a pineapple log cabin
Hang in girl there will be days like this 😘
I am currently working on my long arm quilting Christmas Quilts for family in Texas. A grinch, Santa and country Christmas. I am doing them all free motion. I am in the process of doing a quilt along with Pat Sloan. Trying to keep busy in the summer heat.
Sounds great!

We all do absent minded things. Some are just funny. Haha ! Others frustrating like FROG sewing and some cause us to cry
That little coin purse is so cute 🥰
You might look at turtle bay line
Working on a cross stitch project while at the campground.

Dollar tree has beautiful canvas artwork from their seaside collection. I bought them for my bath . Beautiful . Ocean scenes.
Chicken salad is soooo cute!
I like Villa Rosa too. I told my quilt club at my LQS that I lead that they had an app…. Everyone was sooo excited! I told my club peeps to watch your RUclips, they will enjoy it as much as I do!!

Bible cover for my 10 year old grandson!
I like how you called the fish--"That Blue thing" ;-)
😅😅😃
Do crosshatch behind chickens to look like their coop.
I would definitely put borders on it but agree with you that it needs a small solid border before you add the print fabric. So cute!
Hi Becky! Maybe consider sending in the Passport correction now so they have both pieces of mail there when the processing takes place.
On the Villa Rosa quilt maybe try a green inner border.
I think a small 1.5 border then your beautiful beige large border.
I have that panel I bout in 2016 in Corpus Christi🤩
Hi Becky. I just finished my very first long arm quilt on my brand new machine. I’m so proud. It’s a baby quilt for my new grandson coming in September. Love all your tips and tricks. You go girl.
Congrats!!
Thanks Becky for your help.
I think a red inner border would look great
The blue thing is a trigger fish
Thanks!

Love the beach pic on the canvas frames!👍
Love the little rascal names!!

Congratulations winners!
I like the Villa Rosa quilt, I agree that it definitely needs a solid or darker print before the lighter flower print.

I do hope you record some of the quilting for Chicken Salad. Love to watch custom quilting.
Your Halloween quilt is so cute
Hi Becky! Working on a rag quilt for my first great grandbaby. That's what my granddaughter requested. She will also get an appliqued one as a surprise. That's next.
Wonderful!
Could you show a comic book boards? We don’t have them in England (at least I don’t think so) I would like to see what they are. If you have time.
Did the event and it was wonderful. Bought my magnetic hoop and thread ripper from that show. Don’t know how I missed this blog especially since there was a turtle. Lol! put a hold on the check now then you can re submit
I’m doing the same thing. I’m always buying a yard at a time of coastal fabrics. They wanted $600 for the bed quilt. I’ll make my own too.
i agree you need a solid to calm that down, love the fabric
praying it works out with the passport renewal! Have you ever done the sew along with Gnome Angel? It's called 100 days 100 blocks, and the one about to start is called Kinship! I'm excited, just bought my pattern for it!
Have fun! I know already that would be a UFO for me so I'm crossing my fingers that you'll get it done!
Would love more info and videos on how to quilt appliqué like after it’s already appliqué on so quilting the entire quilt
Yes your check is cashed 1st thing then you will get a letter saying what you messed up. Ask me how I know. Lol thanks for sharing all your goodies.
Thanks! At least now I know what to expect.

Love the wall art idea! Like you I can copy like crazy!
Becky love the Halloween quilt. The web quilting pattern is amazing.
Becky, check into getting a fast passport. My grandson did that in Virginia. Got his passport in a matter of days. It is done in several locations, I am not sure where.
I'll have to do that on the 2nd submission after my first one comes back. Thanks!

Becky, are you enjoying your new Grace Q'nique?
Yes! I'm loving it! And didn't it do a nice job on that Halloween quilt? The QCT5 software is SO much easier than my last automation.
Loved your quilting on the Halloween quilt.
I wold put an inner border on first then a second border. But I would pick something brighter then what you showed. But that's just me. Love, love your videos.
You are welcome…glad you like it😀
Yes! Did you see that another commenter asked for the patterns for it? It's somewhere under this video and they want to make it. Thank you again!
Always a great way for me to start my day, a visit with you. Cheers!

Working on quilts for project linus.
I would put a small red inner boarder then your tan one
An inner border would give the eye a place to rest. Then add the outer border.
Bless you on your passport! They rejected our pictures... Too white, too dark... I think James actually sent his back 3 times!
At least I'm in good company! lol
I love Kimberbell!
Hi Becky, I watch You all the time I just love what you do. I live at Coutts Crossing in NSW Australia It is very cold here at moment we have our fire going every day.
Thank you so much!
Good to hear you’re normal like the rest of us that don’t know how to slow down…. But who has time for that?!!!!!?!!
Wow Becky that Halloween quilt is AWESOME! That is so cool!!!!!!
I so enjoy your videos. I look forward to each one. Thanks for all you do.
A thin red border would be really nice before the outer you showed.
Please show us how you do the canvas. I have some panels and canvas blocks. Staple or modge podge
I'll staple I think. Then modgepodge.
@@PowerToolsWithThread would you consider doing a video on the process?

Yes, but it was very early in my RUclips journey. RUclips has buried it and I can't find it. If I can't find it, then you can't either. Perhaps I'll make another. :)
always love your show n tell
Turtle Bay fabrics would have been perfect for your quilt.
I'll look around for some!
Did you use an automated pattern for the spider quilting? It's very intricate.
Yes. I purchased it for my longarm automation.
I think your new "coast" quilt needs the green as a 1" or 1 1/2" inner border and then the tan floral as the outer border. Love the pattern.
Thank you Becky for all the wonderful information you share with us!
