not only that, even price adjusted it for some regions, and further added more countries an hour after the launch, which AAA devs wont even think of.0+

I never valued the roleplaying aspect of a videogame until I bumped into this guy on Battlefield 1. aw man the voice chat is not good news for me, was never a fan listening to toxic kids screaming their heads off in ranked apex. You CAN toggle it off, right?
@@SuryaGupta-te7fqyes you can. But I strongly recommend you don't. It's not toxic most of the time and devs literally ban people for this stuff. Report system works well. It's all about getting the formula right, with a little bit of luck. While the graphics are Roblox like (leading to lower system requirements, targeting larger audience) and the price is very low, the gameplay looks great.
Yeah, they started the project eith the idea of making a AAA-like game but that could run on almost every machine, which is a big W in my opinion. For example, it can run even on my pc which sometime struggles even with the actual Roblox lol
@@lingualesta i agree, they have a larger pool for potential players, most games only appeal to those who have the best of the best hardware, but if you only have a potato PC, your a potential customer who aren't going to see in their game and that's also potential money lost on their game because it's not enough flexibility for all potential hardware. it makes sense to make a game incredibly flexible with hardware over just visual feudality something Todd Howard has forgotten with starfield for some reason lol. my PC is simply just too old to play that game and right now i simply can't afford an upgrade to the right hardware much less pay for a game that expensive on release. so i will likely have to wait a while for prices to drop on the kind of hardware needed, but maybe all the games DLC and bugfixes will all be out by then lol, and i will get the game on sale at that point as well.
It's a great example of how much gameplay appeals to so many people over visuals. A game that plays really well with decent-to-good graphics often really grips people. This is why there's still such an interest in more classic games.
The thing that BattleBit has is just a small feature that allows you to customize each class. The helmet and chest choices can affect your gameplay, providing more armor or giving you additional ammo. However, each equipment also has its downside. This has been my wish ever since Battlefield 4 was released, and I'm glad that BattleBit has considered implementing this feature. I hope that in the future, they will add even more equipment options.
Reminds me of rainbow six Vegas. Your armor could effect your gameplay experience, more armor meant less mobility. Less armor meant more, however you’d die in 2 shots vs 4

@@SwiftVTingThere are magazines about ammo clips? What's your favorite ammo clip? Does it show up in that magazine? A clip is something that holds bullets.
@@chaotickreg7024”a clip is something that holds bullets” yes, but no weapon in BattleBit used a clip, they all use magazines or belts. A clip holds bullets which then gets inserted into the weapon (think M1 Garand) while a magazine holds bullets and the whole thing is inserted into the weapon, like on a Glock, M4, etc.
@@robforskinstein No you're wrong, the guns in BattleBit have more than one bullet so they use clips to hold multiple, obviously. Some people need to learn some English, I swear.
I’ve been playin PC genre defining games one release at a time for over for 35 years now. And the gameplay experience Battlebit gave me during play tests was the same level of exhilaration I first experienced in BF1942 playing back to back with my brother in High School. And that is literally the highest compliment this old school gamer can give to any team based fps.
@@JoelElRican Loved playing LANs with the desert combat mod, also Secret Weapons of WWII and Road to Rome. Battlefield Vietnam as well. I've only played about 10 hours so far but man I haven't had this much fun playing games with my friends in such a long time. We played thousands of hours of BF3/4 so this is exactly what we know and love. Could easily sink hundreds of hours if not thousands into Battlebit!
First time I got promoted. I yelled “PROMOTED” like in battlefield friends. Everyone around me laughed. The community is great for this game. No try hards and everyone is pretty friendly
8:30 It actually makes the support class useful, unlike how the class is in ALL other games that have a shared bullet pool. A class that can drop ammo isn't supposed to be superfluous.
indeed i hope they keep it this way because it gives a more team play vibe and not just one man army, those keyboard warriors should get tuned down to where everybody is having a blast, poeple forget that its still a game :D not everybody is getting payed to play 12 hours a day hahaha
Was praying you'd make a video on them. The devs are wonderful humans and as a 90s kid, this is the most fun I've had playing an FPS since my COD4/BF3 days. It's even been getting my non-shooter friends into it and having a blast!
BattleBit is our last chance at a return to the amazing franchise that Battlefield used to be. If BattleBit can't convince EA and DICE what the Battlefield fans really want, nothing can...
Maybe it's because I'm 33 now but the graphic of Battlebit makes it simpler to see enemies even from distance. It's a super fun game that reminds me of Bad Company 2 days.
yeah, one of the things I hate about modern graphics is the overbearing elements scattered everywhere reducing visual clarity. Titanfall 2 did it right by highlighting all players.
Feel you on that one. Damn astigmatism, hate glasses, but bifocal contacts are super weird. Starting my 40s in 2 months. Love having a game my 6yo son wants to play, besides zombies in Cold War lol.
I actually have the opposite experience. As a color blind person who also needs glasses it can be very hard to see people especially at distance. Night mode is impossible to actually play for me. Love the game and I'm not knocking it.
its all just fake stremer hype, this poop will die in few weeks, people act like half of the mechanics are something new while 2000-2005 era games had ammo management like that, local voip isnt anything new too
I will say I absolutely LOVE the reload mechanic. Feels like a good gamification of a valid battle concept of tactical reload vs an emergency reload. Medic having Claymores is way too many and too stacked on the class, wish those were for support only personally.
It was supposed to be a milsim game and the roadmap has a milsim gamemode in plan so the reloading and other milsim elements are both leftovers and intended to stay. After a little practice you will be very accurate at knowing how much shots you have left in the mag just from the icon on the bottom right. Urges a little more tactical approach to your ammo management than just raw numbers, imo.
My favorite thing about this game (from what I've seen) is that every player gets to choose how seriously they want to take it. If you want to go full milsim and have a completely realistic (aside from the graphics lol), tactical experience, the game gives you all the tools for that. But if you want to scream in voice chat all game, ride around in vehicles, and bottom frag every game while having a good time with your new squadmates, the game is designed for that too. Nobody cares about winning or losing in this game because they're just having too much fun to care. I've been an Overwatch player for years, but I always hated how the game just wasn't fun if you were losing. I'm definitely switching over to this game as soon as I have some money to spare for it.
@@whateverusername You are completely right! Seriousness and hillarity meets hard in this game. Once I grabbed a dropped enemy's body after capping a point and began dragging him around. The reload mechanics and ammo management is what Ive been asking for a BF like game. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air, coming from an insurgency sandstorm player. Tho I hope they tone down the movement speed a bit. Maybe custom modded servers in the future perhaps?

Honestly yes the 3 guys that did this deserve all the good press that they are getting. Not to mention the fact that with this much success they'll have the money and maybe more time to create another game or continue developing this one
@@stephen-ng They don't seem like the kind of people to get bought out. For a couple of indie developers, the money they've already made is enough to live on for the rest of their lives. They get financial security plus the ability to work on the game they want, I don't see what they would gain from selling.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the incredible global VOIP. I have had some amazing moments talking with allies and enemies alike. There's nothing like standing in spawn with 126 other people and everyone starts erupting into incoherent monkey noises.
very surprised you didn't say anything about the voip, I feel like that is another massive part of this game. Also the fact that Battlebit supports a bunch of different playstyles from the battlefield genre. if you wanted to fly a heli the whole game and just be a transport you could do that the entire game and still get rewarded with a nice chunk of xp.
Battlebit has that same grip on me that BF1 used to. Starting out not having an idea what to do and just dying a whole lot, then a week later being completely invested in it.
This is what love means to players. Just simple thing done right, with care and love for the details that makes BF series a game to remember and be inspired on. This three guys are legends🎉
I streamed about 4 hours of this beautiful game last night and NOT ONCE did I feel like the game was unbalanced or boring. This game gets a solid 10/10 from me! ❤
I do like some of the hard core mechanics in BattleBit, they add a sense of realism to a simple game. Also it makes you think and use tactics which can pay off and is satisfying if you're planning ahead. All and all can't wait for this to be on console
Nothing like having over 100 players storm a check point. Just sitting with a scope watching the battle play out is hypnotic. It would be nice when they get the tutorial area be a little more practice area and helicopters there but i can be patient with them. Keep up the awesome work. 🤘
I've been playing battlefield field since PS2 and for me personally, things have never really felt like battlefield since battlefield 3. Bad company 2 was my bread and butter and the series has steadily declined since bf3, this gives me some hope for the future of a genre that has been let down time and time again. These guys have nothing but respect from me and I hope they can pick up where EA dropped the ball so fantastically.
I started in BF2 as well, but I have to disagree. BF4 was every bit as amazing as its predecessors. Every time a new Battlefield came out and people disliked it, there would be a mass exodus back to BF4. Even 10 years later it still consistently has over 1000 players daiky. BC2 is probably my favourite as well (rest in peace...) but BF3 and BF4 were still absolutely amazing.
Completely wrong. Only 2042 has dropped the ball. BF1 & BFV were incredibly good singleplayer games and there was nothing wrong with the multiplayer. Let's not talk about Hardline...
Love the gun play in this game. The different reloads. Magazines aren't shared and you have to take your time to load them. The recoil is perfect. The bullet goes exactly where the barrel is pointing!!!!
I've been playing battle bit the last week and a half with some buddies amd honestly it's refreshing. The prox chat in the game is hilarious, it's nice having so many weapons, camos, and attachments to work for naturally, you know people aren't gonna be paying their way to the top, they earned it
the clip system helps to dampen over-extending players. you got some guy going ham on the W-key is gonna have to stop and figure out their ammo sometimes. I really like it.
On the magazine mechanics I hope they keep that in for every Game mode. I know eventually they're gonna have a hardcore and more casual modes being separate however having a more realistic approach to magazine changes slows down combat just a tad bit. This in turn cascades into several other interactions changing. It prevents the reload after every shot mindset, encounters become more dynamic etc. The fact that it's a mechanic that subtly makes so many other changes which are SO subconscious you don't even realize they are occurring marks it as a great mechanic that is part of the games better experience.
I think the reload makes sense. From a sim like game before it became battle bits, it's more realistic. If you reload a mag that still has ammo in it. Then it's a waste of ammo and you have to add the remaining bullets in a different mag.
I don't even understand why people think its gimmyicy its makes 100% sense ammo should not be a floating number! This just make sense its fine for a casual game in fact I prefer a bit more of a realistic ammo count then made op mags and numbers that always trow me off and made me go to arma or squad but then you face extreme hardcore elements you may not in the mood for. I hope they never change ammo count.
I think the problem with most multiplayer FPS is the competitive factor that is still sticking around a little while. Most of us know that it’s changing because of the money problems with competitive leagues. I do think most of those left over projects are almost down and released. BioWare for example dropped all multiplayer games to solely focus on single player games. Plus the thunder being controlled by more and more indi and third party groups is being noticed by the “AAA.”
thats no wonder after success of Elden Ring, players are hungry for good single player games, after years of gaming spoiled by idiots not understanding the games and cheaters... like in BF5...
So it's basically what Battlefield should be. - Not forced into the Frostbite engine so it's accessible to pretty much anyone - On Steam instead of Origin so it has a larger platform - Gameplay over visuals - Destruction of Environments, classes instead of 'operators', vehicles and other classic staples of the Battlefield series - None of the EA monetization bullshit. - Good variety of maps, server sizes and game-modes - Proof that the Battlefield formula of a decade ago still works instead of trying to shoehorn in mechanics from other games
For alittle while now Battlefield 2042 plays great, its the closest to BC2/BF3 for a BF game in awhile. And Portal mode gives you access to Arica Harbor, Noshahr Canals and Caspian Border. 128 player war sim on Arica Harbor is insane.
Vietnam was so so good! Credence Clearwater revival fortunately son blasting out the heli. I’ve seen a handful of proximity re-enactments on battlebit.
I'm honestly a big fan of the whole ammo system and I appreciate that it's not as arcady as Battlefield. Especially having to use the Secondary due to frequently running out of ammo adds a lot of cool moments for me. I've only played Night Gameplay in 32v32 and it was an awesome experience as well.
Gameranx is the best channel on RUclips for me. They are consistent af and I look forward to watching their videos every time they upload. Good job Gameranx. Your hosts are the goats too. This channel is much better than other large gaming channels. Keep it up

The devs deserved all the cash they received. I also discovered that I suck playing battlefield style games. I die a lot, I can't spot enemies easily, miss my shots a lot, runs a lot without any action all the same again but with more fun.
Its great to see Battlebit doing as well as it is. It'd be nice if EA can take a look at this and use it as a wakeup call for the original series but more than likely, they'll just try to turn it into a lawsuit, knowing corporate EA
There is something you left out of the video. The developers have said that every single update they do to the game, whether it's new vehicles, weapons, maps, or entire expansions, will be entirely free for anyone who has purchased the game. 15 dollars is all you will ever have to put into this game to get all the content, and they have said that they are planning to update this game with content for a very long time.
Truely an epic game. Bought it yesterday. Level 20 so far. So many weapons and things I wanna unlock. Can’t wait to learn the maps. Just really loving the fast paced infantry warfare with mobile support and tanks backing you up. This is the battlefield we deserved.
I actually really like the reloading mechanic. Gives the game that realism and makes for an interesting problem I have to pay attention to and can actually get better at managing.
That reloading system is definitely something I’d like to keep. It’s a fun mechanic and and doesn’t feel gimmicky at all. I think it’s a great Milsim feature. Makes the support class useful too with ammo drops
Seriously the gaming industry NEEDS more back to basic fun first money second mentality. Just like in life money takes care of itself AFTER you get good at your craft and not one second sooner. Love this stuff. Now if we could just get some more single player games, fun first mentality again, it'd be wonderful
Sadly fun first wont happen. The issue is that games are now so expensive to make with hundreds of millions for development that they focus test the shit out of them until they're basically mush. A good chunk of the industry just focuses on safe since a failure is insanely costly. Hence why 3 dudes can easily make an amazing game since the costs are low. IMHO the main problem with the game industry as it stands is the focus on AAA. In ye olde days we had a metric ton of AA games. If anything that was the majority of stuff that ended up as massive series. But now big publishers just avoid AA like the plague and are trying to go full AAAA which is just... silly? Theres no flexibility or experimentation anymore. The indies are here for us and that's it.
@@DivinityOfBLaze I wish I could disagree with you but you're absolutely right on costs but again, if something is truly fun it WILL sell. I do agree what happens in the triple A factories is they get so deep into the minutiae it looses what makes things fun. I would also argue that games spend way too much time on graphics instead of mechanics and good story. Just like when idiots buy cars I think most people value what looks pretty vs what's under the hood so consumers are to blame as well.
@@videozoom12 Graphics are a very easy to sell thing. Granted, and this is coming from an amateur game dev as I make some stuff in unity. Graphics arent difficult to make. Or rather, its not related to coding. Graphics guy has nothing to do with the graphics. And if they have any good organization, which big studios do simply due to team size, they probably got a decent team of coders working for supporting the graphical side of things. Stuff that effects GPU not CPU. Which is to say: Graphics really wouldnt come at the cost of mechanics or fun. Its just that they dont focus on fun to begin with. Its why niche products find massive success because the niche is basically untouched. Think Paradox with CK3, Hoi4, Cities Skylines (Speaking of EA, Sim City. They killed it and Cities Skylines makes BANK).
i wrote this game off when it was in its earlier testing phase just because of its looks. eventually i gave it a try and spent the entire first game with my jaw on my desk in complete shock of how well it played. Plus having pretty much every shooter feature the current day gamer wants, smacked into a game that looks like roblox/minecraft/unturned.
Three people? THREE PEOPLE!!! Unbelievable! I'm just.... speechless, both at the amazing job these guys did and the incredible incompetence of Dice and EA!
BattleBit isn't battlefield. It just mixes the best of all fps titles. The gunplay of insurgency sandstorm, the movement and gun progression of cod, the milsim features of arma and squad, and the destruction and player counts of battlefield. BattleBit just brought all these ingredients together and cooked us gamers a wonderful meal. Plus it's cheap!
Thank you, I'm so perplexed by the comments that keep saying it's perfect Battlefield gameplay, especially some comments claiming it reminds them of BC2 are really weird. It's so much more of a Battlefield realism mod than core Battlefield.
I just picked it up last night and only had a little time to play before I had to go to bed, but it's really fun and the voip makes it hilarious, can't wait to spend some real time in it, the old battlefield series were my favorite games, so I'm glad that this came out
Not only do you very quickly get used to the graphics, you can run the damn thing on a potato. That has a HUGE advantage to getting the player base way up. On my 6800xt at 4K I easily hit a consistent 200+ FPS. But aside from performance, its truly is such a fun game and surprisingly tactical for more hardcore players. I spend one 64 v 64 round holding a flag with my squad on top a roof building a base and re-building/repairing fortifications, reviving, healing, ammo replenishment, fighting off waves of enemies coming from all directions including helicopters with dudes repelling on to us .. It was FUCKING EPIC! I love this game and thats coming from a diehard old skool Battlefield player with a mix of Squad and other tactical games. Just BUY IT!
I’ve been seeing tons of battlebit vids…at first I thought damn, they must have went nuts on advertising….but if I guess people are really playing and having fun with it
I just love how you can have a full group in a heli and we crash and die within like 5 seconds of taking off and everyone just busts out laughing on how silly that whole thing played out then respawn and run it back and laugh some more! And also out of the 20 or so games ive played never heard someone bad mouth someone everyone just having a good time. You could go 0-50 and no one is going to call you trash atleast not the games ive played in.
It’s crazy that you make this video today cause I met a guy in discord who put me on this, ready or not, squads and ground branch lol that’s wild timing
This game is a nice reminder to the industry that at its core, gameplay is the most important element to attract players. Everything starts with gameplay. Games that aren't very intensive are also a W since they can be played by a wider player base.
The reload mechanics are refreshing in games like theses, honestly reloading the same mag like its magical item its dumb. Its a good combo of complete battlefield chaos everywhere with more tactical gun play, had a time a friendly had to drop mags for me cause i ran out of ammo, only worked cause we both had the scar, cant load a groza mag into a scar. Its the little details like that that make this game truly amazing.

i agree, they have a larger pool for potential players, most games only appeal to those who have the best of the best hardware, but if you only have a potato PC, your a potential customer who aren't going to see in their game and that's also potential money lost on their game because it's not enough flexibility for all potential hardware.
it makes sense to make a game incredibly flexible with hardware over just visual feudality something Todd Howard has forgotten with starfield for some reason lol.
my PC is simply just too old to play that game and right now i simply can't afford an upgrade to the right hardware much less pay for a game that expensive on release.
so i will likely have to wait a while for prices to drop on the kind of hardware needed, but maybe all the games DLC and bugfixes will all be out by then lol, and i will get the game on sale at that point as well.
Who woulda thunk a game made by 3 people would finally pull me back into FPS games after almost a decade. Well done gents, well done.

I absolutely love the -ammo clip- -magazine- clipazine management. It makes it feel like your choices of when to fire your weapon are far more important.
You mean magazine?

Battlefield 1942 was a huge part of my gaming journey. Still have my original discs. I loved playing the Desert Combat mod.

It actually makes the support class useful, unlike how the class is in ALL other games that have a shared bullet pool.
Except nobody plays support bc the guns are dogshit

How does this game play? More like COD4 or Battlefield? I’m thinking of picking it up on the steam sale.
BattleBit is our last chance at a return to the amazing franchise that Battlefield used to be. If BattleBit can't convince EA and DICE what the Battlefield fans really want, nothing can...
good point but it would be even cooler to see these devs keep improving and make a real game studio that replaces EA

It's insane how much media recognition it gets, have been playing for about a week and it's a blast.
Maybe it's because I'm 33 now but the graphic of Battlebit makes it simpler to see enemies even from distance.

Well to be fair that's also what made battlefield stood out more. It's graphics with its engine...
I actually have the opposite experience. As a color blind person who also needs glasses it can be very hard to see people especially at distance. Night mode is impossible to actually play for me. Love the game and I'm not knocking it.

@@Dynasty1818didn’t battlebit came out first tho
mhm I have made a few friends already thanks to the voice chat a group to play with.
IMO, they've already picked up. If you haven't played BattleBit yourself, I'd recommend it!
Battlefield 1 was pretty good too. Gives us a chance to play in a different era of war. Though the game does take some creative liberties on ww1.

I really like it.
it's so much fun to be playing battle..stuff with the boys again. I've missed the epic moments.
I laughed a lot at every Falcon picture appears in this video
- Not forced into the Frostbite engine so it's accessible to pretty much anyone
- On Steam instead of Origin so it has a larger platform
- Gameplay over visuals
- Destruction of Environments, classes instead of 'operators', vehicles and other classic staples of the Battlefield series
- None of the EA monetization bullshit.
- Good variety of maps, server sizes and game-modes
- Proof that the Battlefield formula of a decade ago still works instead of trying to shoehorn in mechanics from other games
Dont forget.
-fun over cash
For alittle while now Battlefield 2042 plays great, its the closest to BC2/BF3 for a BF game in awhile. And Portal mode gives you access to Arica Harbor, Noshahr Canals and Caspian Border. 128 player war sim on Arica Harbor is insane.
The night modes, reload system, mines, and progression are all things I specifically love about the game and think are incredible.
