    Loved the tour!
I've been using White's machines exclusively for 35 years. 6000 Di Pro, Spectrum, DFX, Beach Hunter ID, and V3i...still using BH & v3i. Glad to see all is made with US pride.
Would like to see a water-proof "v4i" which includes higher frequency for small gold n chains.

I LOVED my Eagle Spectrum. I used it for years and had only one problem with the screen. Sent it in, White's repaired it for free, shipped it back to me and never had another problem from it. Now I am disabled and can't detect, I miss it horribly. White's is by far the best detector I've ever used and I had Fisher's, BH's and Garrett's. Quality machine, a little expensive, but it paid for itself in no time!!! Miss you, White's!!

About six months ago I was in Sweet Home and stoped by there. Although I didn’t see the production plant I did view their in-house detecting museum and product show room. In their showroom they had on display all their current detectors and a collection of test coins and objects that I could try with one of their displayed units. The folks there were very accommodating especially given the fact that I arrived in an 18wheel semi truck and they made parking for me. Now if you have never been to Sweet Home Oregon it happens to be a very beautiful place. Whites is easy to find just a few blocks off highway US-20. I know there is a vast choice of quality detectors, I own six detectors myself from various manufacturers and each has merits of their own but it’s my opinion based upon my experience that in terms of longevity, reliability and performance my two Whites detectors are my favorite.

Thank you White's for putting so many Americans to work, and for providing the best customer service in the world. White's quality reputation is what originally made me buy a White's detector, but the incredible customer service is what has made me buy THREE White's detectors.

I lived in sweet home as a little boy in the 60's, remember walking by the shop on the main drag there, seeing that coinmaster in the window made me want to get one, columbus day storm 1962, never forget that one.

The best brand of metal detectors💪🏻😍. I fell in love with your products and I do not intend to change my feelings. I will be faithful to my DFX until the end. The information about the end of the company's activity completely depressed me (on my birthday😔). I strongly believe that there will be a reactivation one day. Greetings from Poland👋🏻🇵🇱🇺🇸

Very impressed I own 2 Whites XLTs, 2 Eagle II SL's and a Whites TM 808. I have to say that I have been a fan of Whites Electronics Metal Detectors for a long time and have followed their progress through out the years and always known that they have lead the future in metal detectors. I a have more than 30 years of electronic manufacturing experience as a senior electronic technician and 20 years of that was FAA environment. I have to say that this company is very well equipped with the right tools, technology and most importantly a very good safety mechanism in place to protect the employees. I give Whites Electronics 5 stars out of 5 for Quality, Technology and safety. From a satisfied customer for more than 25 years. Keep up the good work. Marc Rosas Tucson Az.

Makes me proud to own a Whites! As a kid in the 1980s I had a realistic Radio Shack unit and I found my first coins with that. Then I had 2 green colored units in my younger years and I always wanted a Whites but they were a little more expensive. I would think someday I will get one... last year I got back into the hobby with my children and bought an MX Sport directly from Whites. I watched the Field Team on You Tube... Todd, Dave, Frankie, Mark, Dominique etc... and learned a lot. Dominique was super helpful in my purchase and has been supportive of my daughter who follows the Silverslingers. Someday in my work travels I hope to go to the factory... it seems really awesome. Made in USA and proud.
    Whites fan for life!

Purchased my Whites GMT around 2003. This purchase was one of many reasons my ex told me she was divorcing me. Having said that, about 21 years later, still loving my Whites. Sent the detector in for service, was repaired and returned for free! Fast forward to late August, 2024, using my detector in a very abusive land (northern Nevada, extremely steep rocky terrain). I bit off more than I could chew. I literately would install feel vertigo when viewing the path I took to make my way up this dangerous mountain top peak. You can see this peak, north of Int. 80, about two miles north west of Fernley,Nv. Anyway, was forced to find a different route back to the badly missed truck. Slipped and fell, it hurt but only cosmetic damage to my epidermis. The second fall was scary, painful and bloody. Tweeted my shoulder, bloody leg and hand. I feel in the GMT. Thought for sure I broke my baby. Turned it on, shaking slightly, and she sprang to life. Such a relief. Durable machines. The peak I hike to is lit up at night. Top of the mountain, long range running parallel to 80. Poor Scout was sore for two days. The rocks are very hard on his pads. I will not hike this type of terrain agin. Thanks for reading my novel. Whites are made in America. My GMT finds small pieces of every metal out there. I run in “auto” usually. Of course you will need to purchase a shield that clips to the head. Pardon my typos, very difficult to edit ✍️. The mountain too is not lit up, but the top of the large cell tower is. Sad to read in comments that Whites is no longer around 🥲 does anybody reading my long comment recommend a “shoe” for my Queensland? He probably wouldn’t wear anything, but….. one more tidbit, Scout only ventures 30 yards from me when hiking. He is genuinely protective and caring. Well taken care of. 🐶 thanks for reading.

Great to see the inside and how the team do their craftsmanship. Tip I did see in an aircraft manufacturing place. An autocrad machine hooked up to a 3D printer, It was used for engineers before they went to a tool shop and said the part should look like this. The tool shop personal had a printed version of what the part should look like. Just when I see your tool shop that cad and 3D printer could make life easier for the team.

But now i use my MX Sport more than my V3i. I can't wait til i can get a TDI Beach Hunter. Hope to see them released soon. I am moving to the Tampa area in the spring so i have time , getting old and the cold weather sucks. Thanks for the video !!!!

This video makes me feel even better about owning a Whites machine. I love the fact that you guys make them here in the US in a small factory instead of outsourcing like most companies. You know when you buy a Whites machine that your buying a quality product that someone took pride in making. My MXT Pro might be a little heavier and not as "pretty" as some Chinese made detectors but that's what made me decide to go with it, the fact that it's rugged and will probably last my lifetime and the fact of you have the best customer service. I wish more companies would operate like you guys.

+Chris Cowie Thanks. Our machines definitely have "character." When people ask "Why don't you make machines that look more like ____'s detectors?" the answer is easy: then they wouldn't be a White's Detector anymore.

What a shame this magnificent company is no longer in business. It used to be such a thrill to see what new whites models were coming out onto the market. I've spent countless thousands of dollars over the years buying new whites detectors and would have gladly spent much more in the future. Sadly, that time has now passed and whites is no longer part of any of those much anticipated purchases. It's like losing an old friend and many of us whites fans cannot help but feel that this companys demise could have and should have been avoided

FordFracture, I think Whites makes a topnotch product. I've got an M6 which I love. I've also got a Garrett AT Pro and its a fine machine that I'll keep from now on. I live near the Garrett Factory, and every time I go over there, they have treated me with politeness and class. Garrett also makes a fine product. I think calling people you don't even know mindless on a public forum is pretty crappy. I have to believe that anyone who works in a metal detecting factory, regardless of the brand, has to be a very knowledgeable and smart person to do what they do.

That was very informative. I own the v3i and have had a difficult time using other name brand headphones. the wireless set that came with my machine does fine . Although when trying out my grayghost and black widow set on my v3i I can't get either one to work properly. The same headphones work perfectly on my other detectores ctx, xterra 705 . If I partially Insert the headphones to my v3i I can get a better response , but if I fully insert the headphones I get lots of interference, chattering and low volume. Why change from wireless to wired headphones, sometimes the batteries go bad and having a wired set is always a good backup. Any info in possibly correcting my wired headphone issue would be great . I don't understand the counterfeiting prevention. Each unit ships with a $2 bill?

Harder to counterfeit $2 bill (rare) than a metal detector.

They will be next. UNLESS they get with the times and start producing modern detectors that are lightweight, rechargeable, and have the features buyers want. The odds are really stacked against them.

That’s great and all. But what about the technology everybody else’s blows yours way I have to V3i , but it seems everybody else is outperforming my V3iI thought was a top-notch Metal detector but everybody else I’ve got friends of mine cheaper units are working better I’m having to switch brands. I’m a third-generation whites user and I’m sorry I’m gonna have to switch and less something better a whole lot better comes out soon. I also have eight over units of Whites Metal Detcector‘s you member the old Alaskan I got one of them too but you guys say you won’t work on it anymore for me oh well I think it was the best performing . white needs to get with the program build something to keep up current technology is there any information about new Metal detectors from whites
