For all those wondering about why the gun models are more accurate than the ones in MW2 The game studio that develops Ready or Not is Based in Ireland not California
I don't understand that particular law. I know California isn't known for it's sensible firearms laws, but why does it apply to videogames? Why is it okay to portray a weapon as more lethal in a game when compared to reality? Like that new shotgun that I can't remember the name of. In game it is a fully automatic beast with a detachable magazine; in reality it is semi automatic with a rotating, non detachable magazine. It just doesn't make sense.
Can we just appreciate how much time the animators must have put into this, almost every weapon has unique animations, most notably on the ars and pistols how the hand poses change with tactical reloads.
@@somnolentSlumberIn one of the pre alpha builds you could actually use it, but since the animtion is made much faater there's not much use for it. There's even a showcase somewhere in the internet.
How is it that the sound design in this game is better than anything Treyarch and Sledgehammer can shovel out? Not even Black Ops II had this kind of sound team working on its sound design.
In CoD's case probably because there wasn't enough of a push to tighten up the sound design from the dev teams or there wasn't room in the budget/timeline to account for it. I know IW really made the animation and sound design a top priority for MW19, hence why art wise it came out so ahead of its predecessors.
for most COD games IW/Treyarch/Sledgehammer didn't focus on the gun sounds all that much, likely to serve as a cost-saving measure. That's why when MW2019 came out and the gun sounds actually turned out to be quite phenomenal it made it stood out
The MP5/10 animation looks like it should be for a UMP. No bolt release and suddenly the charging handle locks back (which it doesn't do) after the mag is changed. Is it a placeholder?
I thought so too but then I look it up. Apparently a bolt release function was implemented on certain variants of the MP5 particularly the MP5/10 (which is in the game) and the MP5/40
The bolt locks back once the mag is pulled though with no input from the shooter. I would have thought it would have done that at the last round hold open if it did. Still that there are models that did that irl pre UMP is fascinating though I didn't know that.
MP5/10 handle falls loose when mag is removed on last shot due to to bolt being locked open. It also has a bolt drop function you're able to press which is put to use in this animation.
i saw you included mods😍 i got excited when i read spear, but its the lt 😭 i love the mcx spear but the big boy one, id love to see a showcase of that mod since its really hard to find😭
That P90 mag throw will never get old.

Commiefornia.
in MW2 its totally random
for example kastovs look almost 1 to 1 with their counterparts
Mw2 gun physics is still better. But i love ron gameplay, so realistic

Ireland has miserable california tier gunlaws what are you talking about
That G36C is the craziest looking G36C I've seen in a video game to date.
they basically removed the carrying handle, that’s usually done when you want to install low profile optics
And that G36C is the most cursed looking G36C I've ever seen

So many of these guns just make no sense for SWAT operators

Lol, it sounds like it. He's playing on a map with suspects and one probably spotted him.
7:28 pov: my father
That slide bite must be insane, almost every pistol is held too high or clips right through the slide.
The operator he's using has really large gloves for some reason, on other ops, its not as bad
I was looking for a comment that mentioned this lol
Some people just have to deal with Quasimodo syndrome.
That p90 mag still in orbit
1:03 goofy ahh flying magazine
"Goofy ahh"
What happened to society

I love the gun sounds for these guns. Each of them sounds so powerful
Remember that Ready or Not has mag inspection animations, when you hold R, might want to add that as well :P
Can we just appreciate how much time the animators must have put into this, almost every weapon has unique animations, most notably on the ars and pistols how the hand poses change with tactical reloads.
Wish they fix the way he holds guns. The player holds the guns way to high, especially noticeable with the pistols- the slide clips through his hand.
It's the gloves, if you pick a different character with smaller gloves it looks just fine.

1:03 bruh, the magazine
Somethings off with those gloves, multiple firearms are clipping it
Why did you include mods, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of doing a showcase of the games weapons when its not even from the base game?
Bro took p90 mag eject to new level
Gripping pistol too high causes of hand or glove getting pinched by slide
This is how guns should sound in video games. Loud and powerful.

The guns are soooo small compared to hands lol
I'd love to see like maybe an AK 101 decked out in zenitco or maybe the new 12 with a zenitco handguard.
Considering that this is an US SWAT simulator, even if they do use AKs, it probably won't be an AK-12 but an AK-100 series with American parts.
