East Broad Top #16 roars to life again!

On February 1st, 2023, East Broad Top #16 moved under her own power for the first time since 1956 when the EBT closed down. This 2-8-2 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1916 and is one of 6 original EBT 2-8-2s at the EBT. She will soon be pulling trains on the newly renovated line.

Can't believe she's awake after 67 years, she sounds amazing! Smooth and well tuned.
The EBT team is doing incredible work. So much is happening all at once right now. A very exciting time for a lifelong EBT fan.
