What a great duo. Two totally different kinds of players, but both are monsters in their own "genre".

The technique John is doing at 10:38 sounds like what Nick Johnson does in his song “In the Mouth of the Wolf.” Also, what’s up with John’s neck? He’s keeping it stiff as if he’s in a neck brace.

Friedmans the cool thing to play through... because it's good, but mostly because it's expensive. Like people having to wear jordans.
Didn't suit John's playing at all. He needs a high gain amp and that's not it.
mike brown If he’s playing the Monuments kind of stuff I guess he may need more gain, but his playing here sounds great to my ears! 🤔
@@JackGardiner Sure is a nice amp but the the combo is £3000! Yeah, John's playing is amazing, irrespective of whatever amp he's playing. His playing through the Synergy amp modules is great and the Dover Amplification.
Just needed a little boost in the front end and we'd be in business I recon
