@@bigmouthstrikesagain4056 Well, yes, of course - humanity is very inspiring that way; for all the hateful idiots, there are people who love and support each other. It's just that, as you pointed out, all we HEAR about these days is the former, so it's nice to see the latter.
No, it sucks and thats it
My sister thinks I'm weird. I want this played at my funeral. Been to a few jazz funerals down south the somber tones going to the cemetery. Then the more upbeat lets celebrate life when leaving.I love the sound of brass. It speaks to me. Although I didn't run across scatman until about a year ago. Love the messages in his songs. Have tried getting all of his cd's. Another great video is scatmans world
Как же я люблю эту песню! СПАСИБО ВАМ МИСТЕР СКЕТМЕН!)
Still listening to this legend whenever I'm depressed or feeling down from anxiety and it never fails to get me cheered up! Sending love from Sri Lanka. RIP Scatman John!

Легенда. Со своим неповторимым стилем. И пусть немного было клипов, но они все были в его стиле. Они отличались.

I should learn at this moment ...
I don't remember how exactly I stumbled upon Scatman John, but I was 12 or 13when I discovered him and his music. I'm so glad I found his music because his music is giving me great nostalgia, bringing me back to the year 2008.

Hey Louis...

Is that you?
Yes yes

Would you like to sing a song, man?
Well, sure could
Look out! 1, 2, 3, 4...
(Scatting by Scatman John)
Everybody party down to Louisiana
Everybody jam (yeh)
Everybody come and take a ride with me
(Scatting by Scatman John)
Follow me everybody; let's head down south
To the land with the man with the message
His name was Satch and he played on the match
Everytime he played the horn another blues was born
Everybodys saying that the way he was playing
Had the whole world praying that he never gonna stop
He talks to Scatman all about scat
He's the father of it all as a matter of fact
Louis was a legend in New Orleans
And the Louisiana Dixieland scene
He made a decision that the old time religon to
be played out the horn and the blues was born
Satchmo's breathin' deep in my soul
Let me sing it to you
Hallelujah
Hey, hey, whaddya say?
(Scatting by Scatman John)
Everybody party down to Louisiana
Everybody jam
Everybody come and take a ride with me
Hey, hey, whaddya say?
Get out the way, let Louis play
(Scatting by Scatman John)
Take a lesson that I learnt from Louis
He only give it to us 'cause he knew it would renew us
Love is the answer
Scat's where it's at
Louis said even you could teach a cat scat
Shouldn' t be talking about it talking to you
Louis was one swingin' happy guru
If you want to hear the greatest trumpet in the world, well...
Sing along with me, sing along now
Join me in the opening and join me in the bow
Singin' in the sunset
Singin' at the dawn
You've gotta get it up if you want to get it on
Satchmo's breathin' deep in my soul
Let me sing it to you
Hallelujah
Hey, hey, whaddya say?
Get out the way, let Louis play
Everybody party down to Louisiana
Everybody jam (Everybody) (yeah)
Everybody come and take a ride with me (yeah)
See'mon everybody
Wotcher think of that scat, Satch?
As we scats say, it gassed man
How about a little solo Louis? Yay!
Now blow your horn, Louis
Everybody party down to Louisiana
Everybody jam (Hey, hey, whaddaya say?)
Everybody come and take a ride with me
(Scatting by Scatman John)

Scatman John was a talented man for sure, and he had a great outlook on life. His tribute to Louis Armstrong was his personality wrapped up in about 3:34 of music. Simply excellent, Requiescat in Pace Sir Scatman John Larkin, you might not be with us on earth, but you live on in your music.
