It's not someone's inheritance. If you are still alive, it's yours. Spend it how you want!

Good for them. They earned it. If they passed it down, would that generation save it for their kids? Nope. They'd spend it on something shiney and new. So I say, Boomers ... live it up!!!

This idea of "spending their inheritance" reeks of entitlement. It's their money! Let them enjoy it!!

It's called spending on some other mug to wipe your behinds, fetch prescriptions, take to you hospital appointments while your waiting on the grim reaper. Remember kids didn't ask to be born especially to drop everything later in life to look after your broke behinds when it's all gone. These same creeps yap and cry why their kids go no contact! Entitlement? Boomers got that locked down hard, generation of malignant narcissists won't be missed that much I do know.

I don't plan to leave my son anything. But I've agreed to buy him an apartment and a car (with the condition he will never ask for anything again)

I won’t get any inheritance so my heart doesn’t break for my peers. That said, perhaps since the boomers broke the world perhaps they should donate some of their cash to fix it. Selfish, awful society we live in.

I mean what is the point of just passing cash from generation to generation. Enjoy your life! Leave a bit to help kids get started but that’s it. Your a long time dead.
