- Ingredients
Gram Flour -1 cup
Ghee -1cup
Sugar -3/4 to 1 cup
Salt-pinch
Water -1/2cup
Method
Take 1 cup of gram flour and roast it (you can roast it previous day). The measuring cup should be the same for all the ingredients. For 1 cup gram flour we need 1 cup of ghee. Heat the ghee slightly, do not over heat. Add ½ cup of the heated ghee to the gram flour. Mix well. No lumps should be formed. Take a kadai and add ¾ the cup sugar. Add ½ cup of water.we need to make it into one string consistency. Grease a setting bowl aside. It will take 4-5 mins for the sugar to become in one sting consistency. Add a pinch of salt.Check out 5:28 mins to see the demo. Now add the gram flour + ghee into the sugar. Keep the flame to low to medium. Mix continuously and add the ghee in small batches. It will become thicker. Keep stirring even after turning off the heat. Then pour it to the greased bowl.let it cool. After 30 mins we can slice it as per your wish. Serve it.

Best and easy recipe..... I have always cooked well listening to her videos.... I saw lekshmi nair's video and tried and wasted nearly half bottle of ghee and sugar and besan.... 😭😭😭😭.... But i didn't stop..... I tried again.... Second time according to this recipe and i could easily make such tasty mysore pak....... Thank u sooo much ma'am.

I tried this recipe. It will not set in 25 or 30 minutes. It took 2 to 3 hours to set . In almost all videos of soft mysore pak they are saying to keep for atleast 2 hours to set.
