I’m glad you brought up the belt throttling. It was bugging me ever since 16:28 when you overclocked that iron node minor that was already capped out by the mk2 belt.
@@djdequeljoe I usually completely skip mk2 belts entirely - reinforced plates just take too long in the early game. I thought I’d show exactly why I do that in this playthrough
@@DawnstealerGaming I understand that. Needing an assembler for belts isn’t very helpful when you’re building long busses. Mk3 is wayyyy better than Mk2 and not just for speed. Lol
Sorry, did you just say the gun is a red herring? Do you mean at this level? Because, yeah, no upgrades, the basic bolt thrower is not much use But the stun rounds? Shatter rounds? Explosive rounds? The assault rifle with homing ammo?
@@lulairenoroub3869 yeah, with all the upgrades it becomes per incredible, but I was going for a low kill count playthrough and at least for me, the basher is good enough - I save the sulfur for power
@@DawnstealerGaming Fair enough. I don't even really like adventuring too far without the explosive gun. You do what you gotta to get through the tiers, but without the explosive gun, I feel like I'm always leaving stuff behind, that's under breakable rocks or in the death clouds of fart rocks and such
@@DawnstealerGaming I feel like there's parts of the map that are hyper hostile that I've only just barely messed around in. I'm wondering if that's been ramped up now were' in 1.0. I know they have said they're not planning on pushing the combat very far, but I'm still kind of hoping there's some interesting fights in there in the end game, just for a little spice :)
I can't wait until we get the cool stuff! I guess I need to watch the next episode!!!
great video man, you gained a sub!!!

@@lulairenoroub3869 that said, I do have a mind to make a weapons factory this time around, so maybe I get a little more aggressive with the spiders 🤔
