Just finished her hangout, I honestly love her and her lore. She's so smart and resilient, her mental fortitude is insane. I can't imagine being trapped and solving puzzles to escape for 100 years and survive with no one recognizing her and everyone she knows are already dead and her identity was only known because of the old records of the Akademiya. 💀

Heizou dps, Faruzan sub, Kuki healing, and a C4 yanfei built as shield support. Would probably be a really fun overload swirl team actually. I might try it for giggles on my main. I like the idea of being able to make teams that work together mechanically but also mesh thematically as well. Thank you for the idea/inspiration.
Considering she is a buffer for Wanderer, Xiao and Heizou, her personality also fits those characters perfectly. A sense of superiority, no-nonsense attitude, a hint of arrogance. You can see her getting along with each of the dps she is designed to buff. Very nice

Collei's va has said she loved Collei back in the days where she only existed in the manga, and had a fangirl moment when she realized who she was voicing and had to act like she didn't know. Ei's VA played the game before hand iirc, and Cyno's va is a vtuber streamer who's been a fan of genshin for a while. I'm sure there's more, but I feel like the va pool is at least decently sized.
I love that in Sumeru we’re getting scholars with a lot of personality, almost everyone form sumeru is funny. for an academic type, I was expecting people with not a lot of personality like sucrose and Layla (no hate) but here I am wheezing at tighnaris voicelines and alhaitham and kaveh’s relationship
Probably because Sucrose and Layla are still learning. Faruzan is already a professor, Tighnari and Lisa graduated, Alhaitham is the Scribe and Khaveh is the top student of the Kshahrewar
Imo the most surprising character in terms of personality literally I thought we got sucrose + ganyu but hell no we got a fischl (mannerisms) + mona (confidence) + yanfei (talkative and spunky) and I'm absolutely here for it. Hella excited for this character. Istg tho her expression in the official art gives a whole different vibe in comparison to her actual personality.
She also mentioned she's more than 100 years old while looking youthful and yet she's a 4 star...well then can't defend Qiqi's 5 star status anymore ☠️

The fact that Alice came before Traveler doesn't mean she is older though, since again, the traveler visited many worlds, Teyvat isn't the first one, so Alice came before us because of this.

Her theme... not sure if I adore it, or hate it. I understand it but also confused by it. This very sophisticated yet chaotic, old yet very innovative, arrogant genius of a mess - it's, somehow, representing her perfectly. And the more I listen to it, the more the chaos is growing on me. I think.
Her ost reminds me to Heizou! But unlike Heizou (which sounds more romantic), her ost sounds more playful and bouncy (i guess? to clarify, I am not a music expert but it gives that kind of bouncy feeling, I'd love to dance or nod along with the song lmao) Also her personality makes her to seem like a fun addition to my team, can't wait to get her on 3.3!!!!
They're both playful but in different ways, Heizou would woo you until you fall into his mind tricks, Faruzan it appears would just immediately and forcefully pull you in by the scruff of your shirt instead. Also God I wish the admins of this channel would do something about these damn bots

my favorite character trailer so far. the music is a banger, the en va attitude is perfect, and the fight coreograph (Wanderer's is even more creative), and I really like the color composition, between academia green, anemo turquise, and desert peach.
You’d think she’d be humbled with her spending that much time trapped. Not to mention stop interactions with the things that _trapped her_ in the first place. Also, is she calling the Traveler, a being trapped in slumber longer than she even existed, a youngster? This is going to be a fun interaction.
Any humility that being trapped would bring would probably disappear after a while, specially if she kept solving all the puzzels that kept her locked. Plus minus zero.

@@c0nfusi0n56 Traveler is the oldest character in Genshin, since the game itself says tha the traveler is older than the stars, so they are probably more than 3 billion years old, this explains why the traveler travels with their sibling from world to world, until both of them got stuck in Teyvat. So, in fact Traveler is older than any other given character except If we meet Phanes, the person that freed Teyvat from all of the elemental dragons (dont remember their names) back more than a billion years ago. The fact that Alice came before Traveler doesn't mean she is older though, since again, the traveler visited many worlds, Teyvat isn't the first one, so Alice came before us because of this.

tbh, when her design was released i thought she would be really boring, but after the demo, playing her in game and hearing her voice lines,, i realised that she’s just unbearably fun honestly
my favorite character trailer so far. the music is a banger, the en va attitude is perfect, and the fight coreograph (Wanderer's is even more creative), and I really like the color composition, between academia green, anemo turquise, and desert peach.
