Tom Skilling been there since 1978 . 2028 would be 50 years. Half a century would be a good number to retire at.. You can tell he loves his work.

I don't personally know the man... but I LOVE and adore the man. Tom is not just the man, he is THE man. No way does anybody else get six-seven minute weathercasts in the same way Tom does. I just love him. He is truly beloved and that's a HUGE understatement.

All of the 75th archival footage is cool as heck, and Tom is no surprise. I've rarely seen such loyalty to one station from career start to present day as exists with many of you at WGN. Very nice to see, had I an option like yours I might've stuck with it longer. Cheers all!
