- Interesting facts about Princess Charlotte. According to Forbes, Queen Elizabeth II's personal net worth was about $500 million. Whereas the potential fortune of her great-granddaughter is estimated to be in the billions. Charlotte is bilingual, she is fluent in two languages, English and Spanish. The latter was taught to her by her nanny, Maria Borrallo, who often speaks Spanish with the girl. At Thomas's Battersea public school, she is known as Charlotte of Wales. It's a decision by Catherine and William, who didn't want their children to be singled out because of their royal titles. Her parents and close family call her Lottie, short for her full name.
I like how her nanny taught her Spanish. It’s a beautiful language from a beautiful country.
The Latin based languages are great to know, too.
@@heiroot yes, and it opens so many more doors where you can talk to more people. She could do a study abroad semester in Madrid or Mexico City when she’s older. And knowing Spanish will help her learn other Romance languages more easily. What a precious, precious child. ❤️

Like her Father and Grandfather, by the time she is older, she will most likely be fluent in at least two more languages ..... French and German.

Wonderful to have a child speaking more languages. It helps the brain . We are a nation where that is possible here too. Please do all you can to educate your children.

@@cousinsister69 yeah but learning off of youtube isnt as effective as a private tutor or someone who is at home with you. also no, some people have to work as soon as they get home from school until 10 pm because their family doesnt make enough family. then they have to do school work after. some people have to take care of their sick family members. some people just dont have the time because of things like this. put yourself in these peoples shoes, some people just dont have it as easy as others
@@Ella-gb7no there are apps on the internet aimed at teaching children a certain level of foreign language. I started Italian and brushed up my French. The more a child's brain is stimulated with educational tools, the more plasticity that child's brain will have. And they will learn other subjects faster and better, not to mention better opportunities when you are multicultural or at least bilingual.
If I had a young child today, I would try to get it to learn Mandarin Chinese. I'm learning it little by little with the internet free classes with the app.

Yeah it is! It's also more feminine. Most Charlotte's are nick named Charlie. Good that William and Katherine went with that.

Our eldest daughter, Tatiana, studied her A and O Levels in England, second daughter, graduated with honours at Sarah Lawrence in New York, and youngest daughter graduated with high honours. at Georgetown in Washington DC. Our two sons studied and graduated in FL, USA.
Our eldest was accepted at Cambridge,, UK, our third, Alexandra, also graduated at Sorbonne in Paris.We are so proud of our children for their academic and professional accomplishments. Our children are multilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, French, Tagalog, Russian, ,& Chinese.

Charolette would make an excellent Queen. She already shows such promise and has since a very early age. George looks to her for guidance and he listens to her when she directs him on what to do and how to behave. She’s a natural leader.
