My heart is broken for his family. I just recently discovered TC2T and was really digging them. Starting binge listening while at work. When this song came on I instantly knew this was something different. Looked up what it was about, then came the tears, then I read that he passed away 2 years ago, really wiped me out. I’d love to believe that little Eiley was standing at those gates and leaped into his arms when he entered.
So during the end he sounds like he's fighting back tears, he actually broke down during the recording and it fit so well that they used it. So he really is crying. This song and album is about the death of his 3 yr old sister

The most unbelievable thing I’ve ever heard. I’m just left crying. I could cry for hours for this family. I wasn’t ready to hear this song. This is so heart wrenching. Then to find out this singer also passes away. God this family, give them peace and comfort for real. I could not even begin to live after life being like this. If only wishes could spare this family, even if only for a few hours….💔❤️🩹
Wow impossible not to feel his pain...and it's just too much to bear. This emotionally charged masterpiece should be every teens textbook on understanding the process of grieving...and the terrible things that this world can and will inevitably do. So beautiful. So real. I'm so sorry for your loss. I sincerely thank you for your bravery to share this with us all.
