I have just watch five videos and none of them aren't nearly as good as yours! You truly know how to teach. You make it very easy to follow and I really really appreciate that.
I have no idea how you can do this and make it look so easy. I had gems sticking to my hands, the Little gems flying all over the table!! The only way anybody would watch my tutorial is just to laugh! Your video was more helpful then the rest. Thank you for going slow and explaining everything.
I used the gummy jelly, and my blink fall in 2 days...I Lerner that just applying a humble thin layer of top coat hold'em perfectly for almost 2 and 1/2 weeks!
This will last 3 to 5 days but if you want something that will really really hold your rhinestones, beads, charms, cubes, or any nail embellishments, then you have to use "gummy jelly" by Nail Couture..... It is the biggest thing in nail history and has changed the way we charm and style our nails 😍😍😍😍😘
I use a base gel, a clear polygel and a no wipe top coat. put on the base coat, cure that, put on polygel and top coat without curing. add the stones and push them until for polygel my stones stick until I am ready to remove them a month later
I tried this product. Should I be applying it thin or kinda thick? Even with using this mine fall off. And I hear many people having success with it so I know I’m not doing it correctly.
Wonder if this will work in other art streams. Like im having an issue when vintage rhinestones fall out of there casing on my wallet and purse art. Ouch!
Hi! Luxa Base does is not only a gel base for gel manis but works wonders with crystals and small embellishments. Check it out www.luxapolish.com/products/luxapolish-soak-off-gel-color?_pos=1&_sid=ef5fb86f6&_ss=r
You were on point when you said not to polish clear gel over the swarvoski stone. On my left hand where all my natural nails are long with acrylic overlay I did polish over the stone because I wanted a more secure adhesion and on my right hand where I only have 3 long nails I didn't. There is a significant difference. Concerning the bling factor. I should have followed your instructions. You live and learn.....but what a hard lesson to lean from🤧😢
Can someone please tell me an alternative to using the isopropyl alcohol to wipe the tacky layer?? I have a severe reaction when inhaling isopropyl alcohol so I can't use it...
The product I have is by Indigo Nails. It's just the basic "mermaid effect" powder. I am just horrible with the sugar texture of it. When rubbing it into a sticky layer I will almost always end up with a small empty spot where the powder just won't stick to it.
That Mermaid Bliss is beautiful. Next paycheck I actually want to order the Luxa matte top coat. The mermaid powder I'm referring to is "mermaid glitter effect" powder. RUclips videos have people just comparing the few brands that make it, a lot of the videos are also in a language I can't understand. Plus, your tutorials are just awesome with how you end up using the product.
+Lovez Cakez hi! Depends on if you use real Swarovski crystals or high quality crystals. In this video these are high quality crystals. I would charge $5 per nail. If longer nails than close to $7.
Was your neighbor mowing their lawn when you recorded the voice over for this? 😂 I'm listening to this with headphones and I keep swearing I'm hearing something along those lines, then I pause the video and it stops. XD Either way, these blinged out nails turn out beautiful, and I thank you for sharing the technique. I'll definitely try not some day.
This hack is brilliant! Where do you get the clear nail sticks from. Im a newbie and have no idea how to get sticks or what's used to keep nails down so I can add gems to my nails before gluing them on
Actually any gel top coat that can cure will give this effect. I cure the base. Then add a dab of glue and a dab of gel topcoat. Lastly place my stones and cure. It does work
sabrrre3 I dont know where this artist gets hers but i have found them at Arts and crafts stores. micheals have reallly nice one extra bling $5.99 for about 10 of them.
Hey.. so this might seem like extra work, but it's totally worth it I promise. It's always more expensive to buy "Nail Art" stones than it is just stones. What I do is look for super cheap jewelry that has glass rhinestones, then just pop 'em out! Lol. I got this one bracelet, approximately 1000+ AB glass crystals set in metal posts on these strands. (Very tacky bracelet but the stones are gorgeous.) The problem some of the time is that the stones do not have flat backs. To solve this problem I applied a layer of builder gel to cardboard, set the stones in upside-down, cured under LED lamp, then filed down the tips using a Beauty Secrets nail file. (Any file that works on hard gel should work.) So ya! I have 1000+ glass crystals for $1.00 and a bit of elbow grease, that would have otherwise cost me a small fortune! 😉 Lol.
But your nail is transparent where light can reach under the rhinestone. On people, my finger stops the light from curing properly; rather at all. Top coating ruins effect completely making the entire effort useless.
No they won't fall off. It's basically called "polish secure" and it's a common way to secure stones. I've been putting stones on this way for 25 yrs using regular polish top coat and any gel polish top coat, and my stones don't fall off. I mean sure we've all lost a stone here or there no matter how they are secured, it happens, but I can say from my experience that stones secured in polish will stay put, no problem.
Does anyone else find their matte topcoat is glossy within a day or so? I don't even bother with it anymore because this happens to me every time! Matte black is such an elegant finish on nails though.. ..it's a damn shame.. **sigh** I know..
Anything you use that contains oil just makes them shiny. A good tip is to mix 1 part acetone to 3 parts alcohol (or you could just use alcohol in a pinch) and quickly wipe over when you need to, that will remove any oils :)
I have just watch five videos and none of them aren't nearly as good as yours! You truly know how to teach. You make it very easy to follow and I really really appreciate that.
wow tysm!!
This really helped me a lot. I enjoy doing my own nails. Especially now that I cant go out and get them done because of the virus.
I have no idea how you can do this and make it look so easy. I had gems sticking to my hands, the Little gems flying all over the table!! The only way anybody would watch my tutorial is just to laugh! Your video was more helpful then the rest. Thank you for going slow and explaining everything.
I love it when I figure things out on my own! Lol. Thank you for showing me that I was doing this correctly, yours look fabulous! ❤
You can also use a no wipe top coat...
I used the gummy jelly, and my blink fall in 2 days...I Lerner that just applying a humble thin layer of top coat hold'em perfectly for almost 2 and 1/2 weeks!
But that takes the bling away by 80% 🥺
It would be nice if you had the colors and types you use in this video to easily order. I’m not sure if I’m getting the right one
Hi, she used luxa base and luxa shine for these techniques. - R
can you pl do a video on various patterns in which crystals can be placed? tks
Where do u get it from
I use a base gel, a clear polygel and a no wipe top coat.
put on the base coat, cure that, put on polygel and top coat without curing. add the stones and push them until for polygel
my stones stick until I am ready to remove them a month later
I've seen alot of korean nail salons use something called pudding gel yo hold really big Crystal's. I want to try it but can't find it online
Me encantaria que hicieras un video con el gel que dices por que eh intentado de todo y se caen 😭
I tried this product. Should I be applying it thin or kinda thick? Even with using this mine fall off. And I hear many people having success with it so I know I’m not doing it correctly.
Besides base what eles did you use???
Wonder if this will work in other art streams. Like im having an issue when vintage rhinestones fall out of there casing on my wallet and purse art. Ouch!
Thank you for the video, its very helpful 🙂👏
Such skill! And it looks like you've got great product there.
+Kari Coleman thank you!
When I get to the web site I can’t find the exact polish you use. Could you help me?

This is so cool Leah!! Wow that method is an amazing!! And it's so pretty too!
+Nails By Rima Hi! Thanks Rima!!

Can i use top coat for my rhinestones?
can i used polygel clear instead?
You can 🤍
I have Fingerpaints clear soak off gel polish, will that work?
This is brilliant!😄
+Megan Z right?! 😘
AMAZING SO EASY FREAT TIP'S..THASNKS
This video was very helpful!! I've had crystals to keep falling off.
What ate those clear Sticks ur using to hold the nails?
How do you keep that pigment in your nails? I have chipping issue. Is that a hard gel overlay in your nails?
+Megan Avila hi! It's my natural nails with gel polish. Check out our FAQS page for tips
I've tried this method several times and my stones still come off after a day or two at most.
+Violet Polack make sure there is enough base coat on the nail so the stones sink in a little ;)
+Violet Polack what gel base have you tried?
Violet Polack ok
Great technique , so much better than glue .
+Under the stair nails Hi! Yes so much better and way easier! I just love how it won't make the nail bulky unlike a builder gel can sometimes
so the base has a Tacky layer that u just wipe?
Can someone please tell me an alternative to using the isopropyl alcohol to wipe the tacky layer?? I have a severe reaction when inhaling isopropyl alcohol so I can't use it...
Jamie Lee are you allergic to alcohol such as vodka? Because you can use that
Try a scented hand sanitizer like from bath & body works. It'll work, u just might need a little more than straight alcohol😊😊
Can i use any gel base coat??
where can I get the lux glitter base? Also where to get the stone that small?
+Mary Smith Hi! It's called "Maria". You can purchase at www.luxapolish.com
How to order the Swarovski crystals catalog I will pay.
Nice, what size crystals did you use?
Could you by any chance show how you do mermaid powder?
+Valerie ♥ hi! Which Mermaid powder are you referring to?
The product I have is by Indigo Nails. It's just the basic "mermaid effect" powder. I am just horrible with the sugar texture of it. When rubbing it into a sticky layer I will almost always end up with a small empty spot where the powder just won't stick to it.
+Valerie ♥ I have a tutorial up called the Oil Slick collection. We have 10 colors...Mermaid Bliss is one of them :)
+Valerie ♥ also we use ours over a no wipe top coat not the sticky layer. Over a no wipe tot coat it has a chrome effect
Love that silver polish can u please tell me who it’s by? Thank you 😊
+Donna Cone Hi! The color is Luxa Gel Color - "Maria" from the Diamond Collection only available at Www.luxapolish.com.
doea this work with other gel bases or top coats?
+crystalstaro8 you can try :)
how much do you charge for one blinged out nail like that on each hand?
+Lovez Cakez hi! Depends on if you use real Swarovski crystals or high quality crystals. In this video these are high quality crystals. I would charge $5 per nail. If longer nails than close to $7.
Luxapolish hi, wear do you buy your crystals, do you have a link?
This needs to be updated!
How long did this last?
Was your neighbor mowing their lawn when you recorded the voice over for this? 😂 I'm listening to this with headphones and I keep swearing I'm hearing something along those lines, then I pause the video and it stops. XD
Either way, these blinged out nails turn out beautiful, and I thank you for sharing the technique. I'll definitely try not some day.
😂😂😂 I believe there was someone doing maintenance outside of my studio that day!!
Samantha Port 🤣🤣🤣
This hack is brilliant! Where do you get the clear nail sticks from. Im a newbie and have no idea how to get sticks or what's used to keep nails down so I can add gems to my nails before gluing them on
Hi. Can you tell me what colour the polish is on your own nails please ? ☺️
Actually any gel top coat that can cure will give this effect. I cure the base. Then add a dab of glue and a dab of gel topcoat. Lastly place my stones and cure. It does work
what size are those stones
+missdelishes24 hi! I believe there ss8 and ss10
Beautiful! Can I ask where you get your stones?
sabrrre3 I dont know where this artist gets hers but i have found them at Arts and crafts stores. micheals have reallly nice one extra bling $5.99 for about 10 of them.
6$ for 10 stones is expensive... Just order on aliexpress
Savannah Purple I got 1440 rhinestones like in the video for 1€ on Aliexpress

You can also get them at walmart in the bead section 175 pcs for $2.98. Different sizes n colors.. just like these.
how can I make a nail appt with you?
The Gel or Polymer is a rubber resin. So it's glue.
Those stones are pretty. But, I'll just do one stone per nail. I use my hands too much to be that fancy.
Do you have any coupon codes?
Does it have to be luxa
+ChristinaMae Fam you can try other brands and see if it holds up.
WOW? I LOVE CRYSTAL'S NAIL'S!.VARY NICE CRYSTAL'S NAIL'S YOU'R ARE VARY GOOD LOVE YOU'R LONG LASTING CRYSTAL'S NAIL'S. THANK YOU. (LUXAPOLISH).

Gorgeous thank you💕🌹
+Sally Redmond thank you!
Gelious nail polish
I wonder if anyone has ever encapsulated a full nail of crystals? 🤔🤔 I’m gonna search RUclips for that answer lol
Koker Hernandez i have !!!! It looked kind of creepy lol not sparkly because it's covered but more like floating crystals under water
Makeda Ellis Sounds cool!! You should make a tutorial!
Thats what I'm looking for too
I did! And it kinda took off the dimensions of the stone although it was very secure .. not recommended
I was thinking about that the other day lol
I like your video.
+Eli Za thank you!
Thank you I have learn something new 😘
I love how you watch the video and then in the description no link as to where to order the rhinestones...🤨🤨🤨
Just search ab rhinestones on Google/Amazon/eBay/AliExpress and you'll find them easily, just make sure they are glass ones and not plastic
Niccceee.
But your nail is transparent where light can reach under the rhinestone. On people, my finger stops the light from curing properly; rather at all. Top coating ruins effect completely making the entire effort useless.
are you sponsored by luxapolish ? id love to know how i can too .. this is an expensive hobby lol.
Ashleigh Lyte the channel is luxapolish this is their channel.
These stones will fall off within a couple of days using this technique.
+ariannym25 hi! They haven't with Luxa Base.
Ari
How long have you been a certified nail technician, Ari? 🤔🤔🤔
Koker Hernandez Aahahaha! _BURN!_
