Ha I’ve finally dived into Deftones this week and felt the same way. I’ve even seen them live before, but wasn’t really feeling em save for couple songs. Been going through all the albums recently. Really dig White Pony, Around the Fur, and Diamond Eyes, but Koi No Yokan especially when I got to Tempest just did it for me. Amazing album. Didn’t take me a couple listens to get hooked.
@@Mansplainer452 It does blow that Sergio is gone, but we don’t know the whole story. What if all bass-player royalties are paying Chi’s estate and if they replaced him, his estate would lose out. Not saying, that’s it, just saying we don’t know the whole story.

Ive been listening to deftones my whole life, 17 years ago it was the first music i ever heard thanks to my dads immaculate music taste
