My wife and I are having a short break in Edinburgh in a few weeks time and are staying at the Hub Premier Inn at Haymarket. We were there earlier this year, but at the time of booking our trip didn't know about Haymarket then.. we (well me really) lugged our heavy suitcase from Waverley to Princes Street before catching a bus towards Haymarket station, crossed the road then got another bus to the front door of the hotel. At least next time, it'll be an easier journey. NCL - EDB, then EDB - HAY
@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney Many thanks. Yes, we are looking forward to the trip .. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city. We're even going to take the train north, just to go over thre Forth Rail Bridge, surely one of the most famous bridges in the UK. We might (repeat .. might) walk back to Dalmeny on the road bridge, as long as the weather isn't too bad .. and my wife agrees.
Hi Charlie I believe your name is the electricity wires go all the way to Stirling then it's diesel-powered from there to Inverness I hope this helps you out and a great video thumbs-up from me
Yup, I realised soon after publishing this video lol. For some reason I thought that the train had come via the Fife Circle instead of via Stirling - I believe the Aberdeen to London Kings Cross services do have the ability to change power whilst on the move west of Haymarket. Thanks for the information!

The wires end slightly north of Dunblane so the Azuma would have changed power at Stirling
