Decades ago, we made something similar to this in boy scouts. We took one of those mini crock pots that come with the bigger pots (the little ones are for dip or soup or something) and melted the candles in that. Then we ladled it into a disposable muffin tray (or pie tray, which ever we had). The tins were already packed with saw dust (we sometimes put cupcake wrappers in the muffin tins so we can keep the end product from sticking). Those things burned for 30 minuets or so and were perfect for getting a bigger fire going while camping.

This will work with only the saw dust. I had a saw dust heater before. Basically same method. Had a can with hole on bottom side and open top. Would put a pipe in diagonally from the top to the bottom hole and packed it tight with saw dust, removed the pipe and lit it at the bottom hole, put the lid on with chimney pipe. It would keep the house warm all night

Don't use it in an enclosed space, you will sufocate, if you ever using a flame for heating remember to crack open a window.

    Wtf!
You consumed so much energy to make those...you could use that energy straight to cook, instead of put energy in that can.
U burned gas on stove to prepare that mix, you consumed cooking oil too.
Than insane amount of electric energy for drilling and prepare the can.
You could just use all that energy to cook straight from a normal portable gas stove with tank and i bet you would make more economy.
Not to mention every time you need to add that woodmix.

I want to know how these poor countries have all these tools, especially the welding stuff? I could never afford that, not even used.
I had to unsub to a bunch because every one welds stuff.I try never to buy anything new not made in usa, but went to several websites of their countries selling tools. Not sure because it's in another language and money is different, but even the ones with the usa dollar symbol in front were insane expensive.
