Can you talk about the degree documents? Are you sending your original degree? How does motorization and appstille work? I’m American btw.

How did you get your background check done? I saw that you can get it done at the local police department but I’m not sure if they need it a different way

@@angelinafelan3149 You need a federal background check! First, you'll need to get your fingerprints done. Then, you can request your background check from the fbi website. I'm fairly certain there are also secondary parties that can get them, but I did mine directly through the FBI.

Thank you so much for that information! Also you recommended that getting all the paperwork situated as in apostle and notarized first before applying? I was going to try for march openings or earlier if I’m able so just wanted to see what would make a better transition and what allowed for a faster time with the places I interviewed.

@@angelinafelan3149 If you're looking to move here for March, starting on your documents now is a good idea! You don't have to have all of your documents notarized/apostilled in order to interview and accept a job, but it makes the whole experience a lot smoother if you don't have to wait a month or two after your interview to get your documents (sometimes schools will back out and hire someone else if it takes too long to get your docs)
