You find a lot of players on Ashen Alliance who have bought their account from someone else. So if you see a gold curse player or a triumphant seadog, they're mostly not legit.

@@skarmex3439 Hourglass PVP is dogshit riddled with runners and cheaters :) there's no time limit and nothing to force the enemy to fight you. I got both factions to 100 and stopped. Edit: also, hourglass PVP isn't a server, arena was entirely different server from the main one
@riluexe Then don't use it. Load into a normal high seas server and go attack players there. Specifically seeking out PvE player servers is toxic and not impressive at all. They have chosen to just do some PvE and want proper rewards. Maybe they had a shitty day at work, and they wanna blunderbuss a skeleton in the face, I don't know... the PvE content is really fun, and you don't always wanna be worried about some toxic sweat lords camping you for "fun." It's not like there's an economy to ruin, alliance servers don't ruin other people's enjoyment of the game (unlike this "content") purposefully ruining other people's experience is about the most toxic thing you could possibly do. Seems like the point of the game is broken if you DON'T pvp. The AI isn't exceptionally good or challenging outside being bullet sponges. There isn't even a point to getting cosmetics.

i can actually understand why people dislike pvp in this game, having a smaller crew and/or smaller boat is a big disadvantage if you're similar in skill, theres no way im winnig 1v2 against similar players skill-wise. i come from tarkov and there you can at least isolate every enemy into a 1v1 situation, as well as easily one shot them and not have to worry about them reviving and using their numbers to their advantage, especially since its hard to tell friend from foe sometimes. however thats no excuse to whine about pvp in a pvpve game, thats just silly, want a no risk sot just go play safer seas, but no, they want same cosmetics for less work and no risk? piss off -_-(just for context im new and terrible at pvp, if you care whomst this opinion from)
