Big movie and horror fan, love the room. I am currently working on a home theater of my own. It is 28 x 17 foot space. You have for sure given me some ideas.
Good question mate, by replacing his previous screen which was 16:9 ratio, now to 2.35:1 allows him to view content widescreen which eliminates top and bottom bars. Note this only works with content compatible with 2.35 format such as most recent movies and moving forward. On Netflix and some platforms there are still plenty of content thats not compatible with this. Instead he will have left and right black bars instead of top and bottom.
