The walkthrough bathroom, reminds me of a narrowboat. I absolutely love. If you were to slip a review of a narrowboat in every once and a while it wouldn’t hurt my feeling at all.
Gorgeous machine. This MB chassis is spectacular! All the fearures from their top cars in a bigger format. Love the interior, very classy. The way the bedroom is higher to give space for the garage is really clever! Awesome bit of kit. Great tour as usual, Nick. Cheers!
Hi Nick. These motorhome (RV) tours are great. Rolls Royce LWB Phantom, Hummer stretch, Arcticulated RV, and a few test drives, Zonda, Mclaren, Koninsseg. Great walkthrough tour as always. Awesome video thanks.
Your celebrity status as Motaholic and Aquaholic should get you in the door. I know there is a LOT of work goes into making, filming, editing these videos. Always a pleasure to watch including the scenery walks on lockdown. Many thanks 😊
Hi Nick I would love to see you doing more walk through of these high end RV. I don't see anyone on youtube who could do a better job than you showing us what it is like to be inside one of these crazy vehicle!
What a lovely coach this is, Nick. I've been watching RV channels for some years before I discovered the Aquaholic channel (and others) and yachts. All exercises in window shopping I suppose. Still, I couldn't help but notice commonalities between the RV and yachting world. I had the idea of asking you if you'd noticed this, too, while watching this vid. And then your camera focused on the systems control panel and I saw the Raymarine logo on the touchpad. LMAO ... Oh well....
I started following the youtube channel rvmaxus, they have really nice class A-s and some Class C-s. The bis class A-s with slideouts are bigger than my first apartment... I really like the telescopic overhead bed feature, as you can keep the bed up while driving and thus have enough headroom, yet when you get where you want and get the slideouts out, it can turn into an additional bed without the need to compromise dining space. Gosh if I had the money, I would live exclusively on a yacht and an RV and never look back.
Awesome piece of kit Nick. Great tour as usually seen on Aquaholic. Stunning vehicle that carries a proper car... Mini Cooper / Abarth 595 Turismo and the like. Like I said... Awesome.
I'm always confused by how little attention is paid to TV placement when people design RVs, yachts and apartments. The TV is the primary use of a living room and will be used basically every single day, but it is always either far too small for the distance away you would have to sit, or in this case just doesn't have anything in front of it. How are you going to design an RV that costs 400k and not give a single thought as to how people would spend time in it on rainy days? The RV looks fantastic from a quality perspective, but I don't know how someone could live in one long term with the main TV stuck in a location you would have to stand in an open space to watch.
Your out on the road exploring things and meeting a lot of people, whats the meaning to build it arround a TV, I would guess this kind of vehicle you can make request on how you want to spec it, so the owners here probably have spec this one for other purposes than watching TV like they were at home.
@@ToProTyp By that logic, it doesn't need a bathroom or a bedroom either, but it has both of those, because it's intended for you to be able to live in it. Each room has a purpose, and is supposed to be designed with that in mind. Designing a living room area without considering that people might occasionally want to actually watch a movie in it from time to time (such as on rainy days) is like designing a bedroom, but forgetting to level the bed, so anyone sleeping on it would have to constantly try to not roll off. It would be a room that fails in the purpose it was designed for, just like a living room without a conveniently usable TV.
Watched a different presentation of this RV/Motorhome, and the STX employee mentioned that a lot of the design elements are taken from the yachting world, and as you say, the touch-screen control panel is from Raymarine. Glamping at it‘s most luxurious 👏👏👏
Yeah what’s the point with all that, even Nick in the beginning I can’t say I ever contemplated hitting a dislike, if it doesn’t float your boat go watch something else
For me, there has always been confusion as to what these buttons are for. 1, Do you like or dislike the video presentation? 2, Do you like or dislike the product under review? Lord knows EVERYONE loves Nicky Noo, so i'll ask the man himself: what do you think Nick, what are we voting for?
Nothing to dislike on the video to be sure, but a bit to dislike on the vehicle. No laundry facilities for one, and a pop top bedroom is frankly terrible. If you've ever slept in a pop top in the wind, you'll understand. Obviously the gains are the garage, which is fantastic. I'm not well versed enough in motor homes to comment on value for dollar, but this seems pricey to me for the equivalent of a $40k slide in camper sleeping accommodation. Can't over value a good sleep!
Blimey. That’s a beast. Cracking looking RV. Everything you could ever want. Still prefer yachts. RVs that big would be difficult to use in this country. Awesome bit of kit though. Great vid Nick
Wow. What's the chances that I just came across this video.. And it's of the exact same RV I just recently purchased.. I'd say slim to none. But it is the Exact same one I have. Cool. 😊😊😊😊😍😍😍 I'm loving mine. Sold my house to live in mine. Mercedes is Class. Top notch.
HI Nick, great tour! I really like these RV tour videos. You should take one out on a trip and make a video, kind of like your boat videos, They're great too.
Thanks for the walk around. One of my favorite models. Not sure if it was STX but I really liked a dual car stacker garage with rear lift gate and popup bedroom. Toss your tools and parts into the matching trailer and you get a luxury race day hauler.
I live in holland and here it's called a camper and because it weighs more than 3500kg, you need a truck drivers license and that's it. No log books or anything because it's not used in the transport business, but for privatte use only.
Very nice, I wish you could have shown with the slide out stowed, so I can get an ideal of space while traveling down the road. Very good ideal with the carport, you sacrifice space, but you don't have to worry about pulling a vehicle like us Americans are used to.
Very lovely RV. The only huge design flaw is that you have to pass through the loo to access the bedroom so you cannot access the bedroom when someone is using the loo! I wish they had come up with a better solution for that.
Yes but who ever is on the toilet would only be a maximum of 10 mins and what are the chances you would want to access the bedroom while someone is on the toilet.
Nick you work so very hard to bring me things I am unable to look at, one small thing and I don’t know why but I was laughing to myself, I imagined walking around outside in the dark of night and I’ve walked straight into the expanding side and knocked myself clean out, 🙄🙄😂take a torch is that you’re answer? , as always great job 👍🏻😎🍻
So, I have a logistical question. I presume that there is a winch because the sides are too small to open doors? I understand that the winch is there to pull the cooper up. How do you pull it down?
@@MOTAHOLIC Still confused. The winch is just a piece of wire and not stiff. You just can't reverse the winch unless the copper is in a slope. Is that the case here?
Beautiful Land Yacht! The front looks really cool like something out of a movie where a science or military unit pulls up in the dark with all the lights blazing checking out an alien landing site! 👽 lol! Wish we could have seen the interior with the slide outs closed, but I know it's not possible at a show. Only thing that I didn't care for was the bathroom would be awkward if someone was using it and you needed to get out of your bedroom to go up front or outside. You're locked in till they're finished! Great Vlog on a really cool ride! 👍
Right when you stepped inside my brain said “woah I want one!” Then I saw the price and thought ok maybe in 30 years if I’m really lucky. 😄 great video Nick!
Gorgeous land-yacht! I've driven on your roads there in the UK (and elsewhere in Europe), there's no way I'd want to take that beast into ANY city center. Hell, I wouldn't take it through cities on the US side of the pond if I would need to exit the interstate LOL
Mercedes Benz, made in Germany hence the LHD obviously made for the European market. It is only here in the UK where we drive on the correct side of the road! Having experienced an RV and a Fifth Wheel in the UK, this vehicle would have difficulty in accessing some of the UK camp sites! Anyway I hope that I have been able to answer your question John.
I hope that lifts off the ground a little while driving. Otherwise, I do not see it entering any parking lots at all, as it is literally an inch or 3 off the ground at the front. But I do love it. It is quite a land yacht!
This one packs a punch. And it's very stylish too. Probably the best of its kind I have seen so far. How does the turning circle compare to a semi-trailer? Every conversion seems to be based on a rigid version.
For the price I noticed they still use the old fashioned push in door latches, also the television in the lounge is not in a place suitable for watching by everyone on the seating.
Garage is cool but not really, any buyer would prefer the extra storage / living space, if they desire a car, they just get a tiny trailer! Garage units are show stoppers, "hey come look at me" piece! I guess some get to live the dream someday, look at these videos and few years later come to own one! Trends! A proper Shadeseeker however :D Love it
Not being in the super wealthy class that can afford such a splendid vehicle my question is where in Costa del Blighty or anywhere else in the world would one go for a holiday in it? Are there Downton Abbey Caravan and Camping Association campgrounds available? Perhaps you could do a video that shows the campgrounds and the facilities available where these behemoths pull in to. Thank you.
A problem with that layout is that people wanting to come and go from the bedroom have to pass through the toilet area that might be in use. A separate toilet area with a door would be better.
