  • I expected better performance considering how much water it uses but the flush is a lot better than I thought.

    You really should get a recirculating pump if you test toilets out and frequently flush them. Not only will you save you a ton of water, especially this particular water guzzler, but it will also not mess up your lawn or patio.

      Agreed. This thing takes about 7 gallons of water with every flush. Most other toilets easily get away with half of that at most...

      @@cameraredeye3115 agreed! Imagine your lawn dying, only to learn the cause was “over watering”. And imagine you water bill being, oh I don’t know…$5000 a month with that thing installed? Jeez, I would be broke

      @Virginian Toilets And Restroom Tours It is the biggest tank I own, even bigger than a 40s Wellworth tank. I'll have to measure the water usage sometime.

    I wish you could use a PA tank. not only will you save water, but you don't have to wait for the tank to fill up.

    This is a great toilet and an awesome performer, but how much water does it use? 70s toilets use about 5gpf, but this is a 80s one.

      I thought toilets had to be 3.5 gpf or less by the 1980’s? Were wall mounted tank toilets an exception back then like blowout toilets are an exception from the 1.6/1.28 gpf water laws today?

    When I’m doing something that takes 1 min 11 minutes go by but when I’m waiting for a tank to fill it fells like 11minutes goes by in that 1 minute

    This is a great toilet but I dont mind there's a lot of water being used. I think the more water there is the better the performance

      @@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I also forgot to say that if you were to install this. Two things could happen it can overflow easily and your water bill could go up

      @@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations well, I clogged it once at 5 years old with legos, I know, I was a kid so yeah. Then we replaced it since it couldn’t take the clog anymore(we tried literally everything and nothing changed), and it was smashed to pieces, the glenwall is ok, but the pressure assist is pretty useful with hard water(no water softener at my current house)

    I feel bad for you bexause you have to wait 5inutes to wait to fill it up and you could get impatient snd i feel bad because you have to wait so long i just feel gulity and also kohler msde another toilet thats the trylon and it uses that much water snd its not the best performancer

      Kohler is good at making toilets that use a TON of water but have underwhelming flushes.

      Good choice tbh, i have a flapper in my Rev. 360 Elliston and it’s flawless, doesn’t clog and haven’t had to double flush

      I agree completely, this is just ridiculous. American Standard managed to make one that didn't use an absurd amount of water so I'm sure Kohler can do the same. They were probably just too lazy.

    Looking back at this video, I can see how much this thing is an absolute garbage fire. 7-8 gallons of water for a toilet that can barely pass a washcloth and grocery bag?! This thing is a pathetic waste of space
