I was at this show! Now my 13yr old son is a kickass drummer who has been digging hard on Sublime. Been drumming since he was 6yrs old. I told him about this show and I’m so stoked this live recording exists!
I agree. This was for the most part, my first attempt at a Multi-Track project. I started off with a 12% noise reduction from the beginning... Throughout the project I had wondered if I could have got better results if I had not started with the noise reduction at all. I am attempting other projects and will take this into consideration going forward. I appreciate your comment.
What I mean is that I localized the Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitar into 8 separate tracks... problem is I had already suppressed the noise before I did anything. I used Audition and Soundbooth to do both, I did a down mix of the 8 tracks after i tweaked the levels of each track together... hope that helps explain it.
did sublime play a show on landsdowne st for one of the radio station concerts? i mean actually on the street not in one of the clubs. the bigger bands(at that time) were playing in all the clubs.
I like them but every song sounds the same those reggae guitar chops gets old real quick but the fusion mix with the punk gives it a kick but I'm not big fan of either reggae or punk, funny when he sings like calypso ricky ricardo with the latin slang definite good party band wish I seen that show but I was late getting into them wasn't too familiar with them back then the rasta so cal summertime party sound but the radio was playing them off the hook along with grunge so it eventually got my attention their party sound sunk in when you hear them you just want to blaze blunts and drink margaritas but I could do without the heroin that's for damn sure too bad the singer couldn't RIP
