Elle sentiments are mines exactly and I too felt the calmness and pleasant spirit in the air. My daughter and grandson now wants to go. I don’t mind going twice in one year😁. I still have lots of Rands to spend 🙃. I never felt so at peace and relaxed. I stayed for 3 months and after those 3 months I still did not want to go back to the US! Even with the load shedding I embraced the situation and adjusted my agenda around it. I can’t wait to go back!

In the 80s I had friends and relatives who were awarded scholarships to study in the USA. They all came back with one message - our black brothers and sisters did not want to associate themselves with us. They laughed at us. Just like Afrikaaners would in SA. At least white American students were not bad. They made us feel human. That message has lived with me forever

A lady from Hawaii visited South Africa, and went to one of our esteemed prophets, baba Credo Mutwa. She read his necklace of mysteries. In the necklace, she saw the coded message written that "even stolen children of the land will one day come back to home". Some may come in flesh but even those who perished without having returned shall still do in spirits; my inference. God's love and light to all of us all over the world as we are scattered around

I wish Africa can one day just work so everyone in the diaspora could come back home including people in Haiti 😢🥺 I'm crying right now cause our leaders they not only failing us in Africa but they failing every black people alive especially those that where taken during slavery
here I am, African American, Haitian and Italian, in fact they should work more with Haiti African leaders, but there is the obstacle of the United States, which consider Haiti American property and therefore to have a free trade with Haiti you have to contact the United States , which already years ago had the plan to make it an unincorporated territory of the united states, and the project is moving forward, now as now they have invaded the island is full of american soldiers after they deliberately killed those of the CIA the Haitian president , just to arrive and have the pretext of invading the island, now they are surely slowly trying to acquire it, waiting for the Haitian government to be in too much crisis, from there the Americans will make the proposal to include it in the American territory as a port guaranteeing investments and only under these conditions would the money and the growth of the country come. Haitians are always African Americans too.

I think that if your ancestors were still alive, those that were forcibly removed from Africa years ago, they would encourage you to come back home. That fulfilling feeling when stepping back on African soil, is connected to your ancestral roots.

As a frequent traveler between the US and SA it always amazed me how few African Americans were on the flights to SA. I think it was a deliberate ploy to keep them out
Crazy how the only African country, that has hosted every major international sporting tournament (Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup, Soccer World Cup except the Olympic games); is deliberately hidden from Black people in the West.
Beautiful people all round. We make a call to our people in diaspora to come back home. We can't wait to reunite with you. Don't think about it, just come.

wat's the electric situation in s.a., heard lots of loadshedding everyday
It's like a season. Every now and then, the main country's power supplier is pretty much breaking down and then to preserve whatever is there until they fix whatever is going on, they switch off the power for two hours a day. Some it's 2 or 3 loadshedding sessions in a day. So it can be switched off for 2 hours twice or 3 times a day. There's an accurate app about loadshedding times that helps prepare. I somehow got used to it now🤔
But you can buy solar panels and accu or a generator. Go as much as you can of the grid!
