So glad I found your channel. I have been looking for a white ink comparison. Thanks so much. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. And also checking out your blog.
funny hero art was my favorite as far as the sentiment went and i like the solid one as well. :)
I love the comparison. The best part is that depending on the look you are going for will determine which ink you are going to use. The memento ink would make for a cool looking moon because of the texture it added.
Thank you for the comparison! I need to get another Staz on Re inker now 😉
What did you use for drawing the lines? Those look amazingly crisp and bright.
uniball signo white gel pen :)
I too liked the unicorn the best was the clearest and cleanest. smooth lines clear edges. others had black showing in middle of letters and blury look
Kathleen, I don't own any of the stazon inks. I don't work with glass, tile, vinyl, etc. Is it even something I would need for paper & cardstock? I have already invested in so many different inks, I hate to spend the money on something that I would only use a few times. Thanks for this very informative comparison. I have always had issues with white ink showing up on colored cardstock. You have a new subscriber here!
Great comparison. so helpful. I only have the Tsukineko Brilliance white, and I do like it a lot, but I don't have another to compare it to. tfs hugs, Kristina
Thanks for doing this comparison. I have a few comments. while not the brightest, the Unicorn was the smoothest over all. I dislike when the white ink has a line in the middle of the letters like the Momento did. Momento Luxe is so juicy that it is just putting more ink on your stamp and when you press the stamp down the ink had to go somewhere and you get that halo. Next I noticed you were cleaning in between each. did you wipe off the stamp after or just use the wet and dry side of your scrubber? The cleaner has oil in it and will affect how ink attaches to the stamp. so whatever you stamped first wasn't adhering to the same surface as the others. I did this experiment myself with some of the inks you used and some others. I've always been a Unicorn White girl too. I was shocked when the new Stampin Up pigment ink put all of them to shame. I expected it to be average. I'm not a SU demonstrator. one more comment. sometimes smooth is more important than bright. I love the unicorn for chalkboard effect. Darlene Devries also did a video comparison with a different mix of the pigment inks she owns and was also shocked to see the Stampin Up ink come out on top. anyway, just thouht I'd share my thoughts. I love seeing comparison videos. Thanks Again.
+Tammy Mohr I have to agree about the lines in the letters, I also prefer the look of the Unicorn one but indeed personal preferences
Thank you so much for this video. It was so helpful and informative!
I finally purchased Ranger pigment Glacier White. I love it! It is very white and dries beautifully in about 15 minutes or with the heat gun! Yippee!
My glacier white ink pad poor quality. Too dry! Maybe I got a bad ink pad!
I wanted to use a polka dot patterned stamp on some painted canvas fabric. Would any of the inks that you reviewed work for stamping on painted canvas?
Awesome! Thanks! If you can ever do "Fresh Ink" or ColorBox Frost White, that would be great.
wow, I'm shock at the results. I agreed with what you liked. However, looking at these from my view, all of the circles looked gray and not white. Your test was great, thanks so much for doing this comparison as this is so helpful.
Boy if you ever need to make a card with a very amazing looking moon on it you sure have a great bunch of images to pick from. lol.... Love the review. Thanks so much for sharing it. Always good to know what you're getting before you buy it. Hugs LisaG
tim holtz coming out a white stamp pad cant wait to see that
Any idea which one works best on fabric?
The opaque Stazon is mostly intended to be somewhat sticky & meant to take embossing powder quickly and then heat set-you might try it. It is a pigment ink & the colors I have work great when stamping a stamp & want to color in with Copics or noire markers w/out bleeding.
Thank you for correcting my error in description crucibelle😊
Thank you for doing this...I appreciate it.
I am really curious how these all dried, as that is one of the biggest issues I have. I am going to do white text as a background for my holiday cards and I dont want it to smear, also I dont want to heat emboss 50+ cards! lol I think stazon will be my best option. I LOVE the way unicorn was crisp and clear! Thank you!
Oh wow thanks.
that is my concern ... smearing. I bought Hampton Art pigment ink. Stamped, let dry for 24 hours, and smeared when I rubbed my finger across the stamped image. Think I'll try the Stazon.
My white ink refuses to dry! I try heat drying, waiting, and blotting! Any suggestions? It is Studio G pigment. Which one of the inks dry well? I will get that ink...thank you!
I have this problem with Avery Elle pigment ink. Don't know how to fix that. I started using VersaMagic Cloud white and this one dries pretty fast.
Heat emboss with clear!
Thanks so much for doing this comparison. I've struggled with several white ink pads and, to be honest, am not overly impressed with any of them. I've used Ranger (not very good, in my opinion) and Stazon. But you're correct, the Stazon dries out very fast...and it's expensive. Hello papercraft companies: develop a vibrant white! There are several companies I haven't tried yet....a work in progress, I guess. But thanks again for this video :)
