So can someone explain some racing stuff for me. There are some races where order really doesn't matter it's just who gets the fastest time. But this race (im half way through) is it just who comes first? no matter the number of pit stops/penalties. Thanks!
I know it's 7 years late, but yes this is single class racing, so it's first across the line. Because of the length of the race then cars need to be refuelled and have new tyres fitted. All cars have the same sized fuel tanks filled at the same rate, so will do a similar number of fuel stops, so no time to be saved in the pits fuelling. But they can save some time changing tyres by simply doing the change quicker. It is conceivable that teams could make their tyres last longer and therefore not make so many tyre changes, and some cars use their tyres less harshly. But by and large time spent on the track and in the pits will be similar for all teams. I hope this helps.
the black ferrari behind the bentley was a bad driver! he hit the bentley twice to get off the track and to get the lead of the bentley but the bentley driver was smart enough not to let him pass :) (bentley use the access road to not let him pass even in the grass :)
