Really great job! Now all you need to do is to put som Dark Wax on with a round 2" brush then go over it again with a Natural wax and lightly buff to seal the wood and stain! You can also use some railroad spikes...cut off about 2-3 inches and then drill and tap (1/4 x 20 bolt holes and attach from the other side.
Dadgummit Kevin! I stumbled across your video and now I've got another project to add to the list. I don't know where I'll put it, but I've got to make one of these. I'm not going to share this video with my wife or she'll hijack my project list and move it to the top. Thanks for sharing a neat, quick, straightforward project!
I like the staggered boards that you had when you built your coat rack for your bedroom. Looked more like an old cabin floor. This one the board ends are all equal. Not as pleasing to the eye. Great videos though. Creative twist on pallet work.
I saw a video where someone was taking old horseshoes and cutting them down to make hooks out of..very nice. Also saw where someone was using old railroad spikes and cutting them down for hooks....lots more work, bit looked ok.
nice! when you started I was hoping to see you forging the coat hooks. still, nice work. my misses wants something similar but I'll make her suffer through my forging skills. ;)
