When i was in high school (2000-2004) i had befriended a Green Beret. He was in Desert Storm. Sadly he was damaged, mentally and physically. He told me a story of when he came around a building corner to see a young teenager with an AK pointed at him. The rest was history.. he said that happened to him on more than one occasion, youngest kid being about 10. Between that and his blown knees and hips, he was still one hell of an individual. God bless all who serve.
Donned my Beret in 1968. 10th SFG and then 5th SFG. MACV-SOG, CCC. One Zero team leader. Still keeping up my skills at 76 years of age. De Oppresso Liber. What an incredible journey. Glad to be alive.
You’re a beast of men and a wise one too. Thank you for all you gave for us to have.
You MACV-SOG guys make call of duty games and actions movies look realistic
Welcome home
May the good lord always watch over you and your family.❤️🇺🇸❤️
Lee , you are an absolute legend. Thanks for paving the way.
You all put together some of the best military documentaries I've ever seen. I look forward to each and everyone.
Absolutely... Black rifle production company!!
Outstanding historical information. All heroes! R.I.P. MSGT Robert Horrigan; you are missed.
that was one of the best jokes we had going, someone trips, slips falls etc., "head space and timing brother" lol
army funnies!
Dude at 2:40 and 4:19 (the one in the middle) is Lauri Törni aka Larry Thorne, the Finnish soldier who emigrated into the USA after WWII and was one of the OG Green Berets.
I wore Larry Thorne bracelet during the Q. I was also around when his body was finally recovered. I gave the bracelet back to his family during his funeral service at Arlington.
His family said, "thank you, .... but please keep this for yourself and your legacy. "
@@tree01house Dude was a warrior to the core.
Larry fought for three armies in WW2. The only former SS officer buried at Arlington. He hated Commies worse than anyone. He really was a fighting man. A truly great soldier. I was very grateful his body was recovered. He is a SF legend!
@@JeffreyRachau Can't really blame him for hating Commies so much since his home town Viaborg was left into the territory the Soviets invaded and annexed during the war. When it was still part of Finland, it was very beautiful and vibrant. Nowadays, complete opposite. But still, as a Finn, it's awesome to see my fellow countryman get recognition.
I know. He's a SF legend. Back when Clinton was president, Lefties had a shit fit about his being buried at Arlington. He didn't even know about the Holocaust. He was a great fighter, believed in killing Communist. A great man and true hero. Robin Moore wrote a great book about the Special Forces and one of the characters was based on Larry. Moore wasn't allowed to mention him by name, but later admitted who he was REALLY talking about.
Love the shoutout to Mr. Objective Secure himself.
Nick’s story is truly remarkable
My uncle was a green beret and congressional Medal of Honor recipient along with Bennie Adkins for their service in nam. Some of the best war fighters and human specimens are green berets. We thank you.
Salute Uncle 🫡
Outstanding job on this, Chuck Ritter and BRCC!
Knocking it out of the park on these last few vids for sure. Great stuff all.
That is the best damn interview/episode of any channel that I’ve seen in years Black rifle, coffee company did an amazing job on this episode. I just wanted to say thanks to everybody that gave up everything they had to protect us here in the United States just saying thank you from San Diego, California, USA 🇺🇸 ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely incredible video. These are some special dudes...
Fuckin badass. Thank you to every veteran out there, and to everyone who was fought for the sake of the USA🇺🇸🦅
Thank you for having my martial "grandad's" picture in this footage. Larry A. Thorne (aka Lauri Törni) was a force to reckon with and we know that in FIN. When I was going through my Sissi training in FDF, his manual was still very much in use as his tactics don't even matter if the enemy knows them, as they are fool proof up to the aspect of luck (which is always present when high velocity projectiles fill the air). I am lucky enough to live in the US now, as a US citizen, and AMERICAN -- just like the man who inspired me to get into Sissis and firm my spot. That said, I am NOT anything to compare to Lauri, so there's that, but I did earn my "havunoksa" badge and was promoted to Sissi LT by the President of Finland at the time. RIP, Lauri! We will stand with you until the final curtain.
Wow that's awesome 🫡
Great video and so much history, i was trained by 5th group in Iraq and 3rd group established my battalion the ICTF back in 03. I’ve worked with the best men that ever walked this earth. I learned so much from that experience! Best years were 2006 to 2009. DOL
🫡 Salute Warrior
Well done gentleman. Thank you BRCC for making this video.
I pray The Good Lord bless you you folks at BRCC, he's always there
This was a great watch
Some of the best folks I have ever worked with. Thank you.
I saw SGM Walt Hetzler on the wall of fame in this video. He was my first SF line company SGM and one of the biggest mentors in my life. Rest easy Sergeant Major. DOL.
A unique unit, even has it's own anthem. Should have played it softly in the background.
I remember being in KTown Germany...SF came in for lunch..mess got quiet...we stepped aside...much respect..
My Uncle Maj. Donald Walker, Jr., joined ROTC in college, received his officer’s commission and began his military career in Ft. Campbell, KY. His many assignments were Basic Officer’s School, Advanced Officer’s School, 101st Airborne Division, and Korea.
Mja. Walker was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran, having served during that war as a Green Beret and Army Ranger. His awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Army Commendation Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Senior Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, and Expert Infantry Badge.
Maj. Walker may the good lord always watch over you in heaven.❤🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️
Alot of the old video footage is from "The Big Picture" a military video program .. there's a bunch on RUclips...a few SF vids & other Mil stuff... really cool old stuff from the 50's & 60's
Amazing production yall
You guys should do a video like this on every special unit. Probably won’t happen but hey… what the hell right
I knew that the US Special Forces ODA pinched the 'cabbage hat' from the British Royal Marine Commandos and who could blame them. A very well done documentary on a very exclusive group of operators.
They did?
I have looked up to the Green Berets and this documentary has shown me so much more and I think I know what I wanna do now in my life. Thank you BRCC, y'all are amazing
Thank you so much for sharing this with everyone 👊🏻🇺🇸
A superb documentary of USASFC. Thank you.
My paternal grandfather served in WW2 and was OSS. He later chose to retire from the military a Colonel. As a kid, I often asked him about his service experience but he rarely ever talked about it. When he did he would tell me a story involving someone other than himself. The few stories he told I heard many times and usually a bit more embellished than the last. Lol! To this day I have no idea if that "someone else" was really him. Either way it is not really important. He took great pride in his service in the OSS and I am incredibly proud to be his grandson. That generation truly was the greatest.
Great documentary! Thanks for putting it together for us.
Army SF has all of my respect and gratitude. They are the best!
mad respect
I haven’t seen Rich Cullen in years! Good to see you, even if it’s on RUclips.
Lol, one of my boys from back in the day! Good to see him
That was my local skatepark as a kid good ole centennial 🤘🏽
We would like to thank SGT. Maj. Michael Glover for your service to our country. Mike may the good lord always watch over you and your family. Sincerely from the very deepest part of our heart, Kevin and Julia Shelton, Port Republic Southern Maryland.❤️🇺🇸❤️
My father in law was in the very first special service which was the Devils Brigade in WW11. The green beret will tell you the same thing.
Amazing story, thank you both
Most well rounded force in all of the military at any level. Some many skills.
Please keep these amazing documentaries coming 10/10

Dope!
I wish I could be a Green Beret!
Thoughts on the alamo scouts!?
Holly shit, that was a top notch documentary! Keep them coming!!
God bless you all!!
Is that Chuck Heston narrating that early clip (talking about Eisenhower)?
Great documentary!
With that being said, I have to wonder...
Why don't the Rangers have CIF companies since they specialize in direct action?
Do Rangers often attend SFARTAEC? Or do they have their own version of that course?
12th SFG.
too good to fight
Truthfully the Vietnam veterans those where some bad ass mothers. Exemplifies special Forces, why I always wanted to be one.
Sniper variant of the m14 was the m21 or m24 i believe but definitely not m25-small detail...
❤
aaayyy, i heard you slide some Tim Kennedy in there.
2:41 Thats Lauri Torni, AKA Larry Thorne the "Man of 3 Armies"
The sections from RUclips were included in the giveaway. You turned out to be the champ!!!
Underrated elite forces
Great video.
@30;35. Active-duty Marines can join SF? Or does he mean former Marines?
Alot of Marines get out & join Army or service transfer...Alot have went to SF though
No regular person can do Special Forces. Not matter what branch of the service you choose.
Two heroes on the wall at 35:22.
0:31 Theyre Australian SASR
For all the sacrifices look at what our country is turning into
That’s our fault, not theirs or our “leaders”, it’s lazy parenting and shitty use of our government offices to better individuals position not our countries.
The country is fine. Don’t let news max rot your brain.
I knew that.
something feels off about the AI Corrected or color added pictures.. They are fucked up looking a bit and it seems wrong to use them in a video otherwise great and with a good message.
Green Beret 🤘🤘🤘🤘
De Oppresso Liber brothers
Keifer started the Green Beret commando s...
the AI pic at 3:01 caught me off guard lol
Why don't you people make militart movies?
The crap holiday has been churning our the last 7-10yrs don't do anything for anybody.
I could've easily watch this if it was a 1hr30mins films.
The avenger-like hero rescuing his bride towards the end of the video's music, really rose a sense of empowerment in me, too.
Cold Wet and miserable . But We kept Moving 👍
❤️👍🏻🥃🇺🇸
NSDQ
Where is Mike Glover?
Fucking badass!
Bob13
This all came from the Devils Brigade
Freaking awesome all are military is awesome we are all so proud and blessed to have men and women to sacrifice there lives for all are freedom it’s just a shame that the country has been forgetting what teamwork and over coming evil is cuz the current administration has no respect for the people who gave everything for us to enjoy everything we have to come together and weed out the evil god bless America 🇺🇸
To think they were what became of the devils brigade
The O.S.S split into C.I.A & Army SF... but 1stSSF was lessons & inspiration also I'm sure
😮😮😮😮😮
Did the guy say men and women in Robin Sage??? Are women now going in to Army SF???!!!???
One of you is here in the parking lot
We didn’t do a very good job because the subversive forces have taken over. Both the political parties act like criminal terrorist organizations so that’s exactly how I designated them to the United Nations because they’re not following anyone’s law or their own religious text. Religions are completely fake, and used as mass manipulation. I’ve been fighting my own war out here by myself for years. The guy held captive in his own country.
The good guy. Completely ridiculous and it was done to get even with me for reporting people for crime over and over again, so they all got even with me.
This was happening while I was out in active duty, so they got rid of me because of my weight even though I was sick. Two months after I retired I had to have four teeth pulled because they purposely were sitting there with me. People are going to have problems because I’ve told General AI to wipe out humanity if they don’t unify and start taking care of the world and each other instead of fighting wars. You can’t tell me that everywhere else in society we tell people to get along or they will get arrested until you get to the political leaders who have wars where they in their families aren’t in any way affected, but they send poor people to die. Done over and over again without anything being accomplished.
Of the Air Force version so I’m an indoors, man and instead of eating iguanas and lizards. I have to eat Arby’s and McDonald’s. : ).
Do you have a bayonet and an automatic weapon and I have an iPad and a Pencil Pro that jams like the M-16. : )
Bob13. Bob13. Run. Run. Run. We. Coming. No. Fear. Jesus. Our. Savior. De. Opresso. Libre
I eat green berets for breakfast
My cousin was one of the og GB’s. Call sign Choo choo. Rip. He told me to join the marine corps where the men are so I did. He was right 😂. Respect🙏🇺🇸
Recruiting numbers must be really low... maybe those discharges for covid vaccine refusals must of have not been a good idea...
The sections from RUclips were included in the giveaway. You turned out to be the champ!!!
Great documentary, but PLEASE don't use AI to upscale - it looks horrible.
