This is marvelous! I also have watched Narek's other video from New England Conservatory playing the same piece. This is a better performance compared to the other one. The difference is that this accompanist followed him and played the broken chords as melodies to support him. She also blended piano sounds underneath the cello sounds, so he was able to shine.

It's been nine years since this was put on youtube, and I have read a lot of comments that says he will be the best in the world. But I don't think so, maybe he will be on top 10 but not the best😃😃😃
Pretty Sure there will never ever be a best, you can be at super high Level and he ist, but No one could name the number on🤔 it's also Always depending on the piece, Personal Taste and Things Like that, so the all over best is Something that doesn't really exist in music i think
