Love my 2023 F-150 Tremor with the 5.0 Coyote. Great off-road (overlanding) with over 1750 lbs of payload and 10,300 lbs of towing. I'm averaging over 18.5 mpg, and this truck is great on road trips. Best truck I've ever owned.
These are BOTH amazing trucks & I shopped the Tremor as well as Raptor. Ended up with a Raptor 37 package, because I personally determined that going Tremor would immediately have me wanting aftermarket work. Specifically, I was looking at a lift, wheels, tires, & exhaust as upgrades. The resulting price would place these trucks far closer to parity.
I love the Raptors, especially with the new coil rear end, however I would get the Tremor as it would fit my off roading needs better. It’s narrower, and can tow more. It’s easier to maneuver as your daily driver than a Raptor. That said, Ford screwed the pooch by discontinuing the Torsen front axle on the lower trim Tremor. It really should be standard equipment ion All trim levels of both the Tremor and the Raptor. The Torsen and trail turn assist are what makes the Tremor stand out over the other F-150 models. By getting rid of the Torsen front end they limited its off roading ability.
When you shot this video tremor if you aren’t going to the dunes with your truck. Because the 23s were about $10k cheaper. Now that the tremor is around $79k-$81k a base raptor is $82k. Doesn’t make sense ro get anything other than a base raptor
I have a 21 Tremor 402a, and it's a great truck. After driving the Raptor, I'd spend the dough and would get that over the Tremor. 24 Tremors that are maxed out cost 1k less than a Raptor that is comparably equipped. I think I'm getting a Raptor. 😂
@simd510 you notice that more on the Tremor. The Raptor feels much more composed than a Tremor, but messing with the suspension adjustments on the Raptor, you can dial it in for whatever terrain/conditions.
If i were to buy a ford and these are my choices, i buy the Tremor. The Craptor with just a V6 Turbo doesn't do it for me. Why do you say that the Craptor can be used for rock crawling, it was never built for that. It was built for BAJA Racing thats it. If i where to buy a Raptor it would be the Ranger Raptor, it can be tuned to put out the same HP and Torque as the F150. But i would stick with the Tremor, much more towing capabilities.
If your concern is towing, you'd get a F-250. If you're buying a truck for trips to the grocery store you get the tremor. If you're buying a truck to go fast off-road, then the clear cut winner is the Raptor. Something for everyone 🤷🏽♂️

You are the first person i have seen say the tremor is a nicer driving truck. Everyone else says the raptor drives better on and off road
Had both, the Roush with the 5.0 Supercharged is the way to go...I like it better than both....
For the price of a raptor you can get a Whipple charged tremor with 800hp. It's a no brainer.

a 402 A pack Tremor is similar packed to what the raptor has and still under 20-25K as well, would be a good purchase
the 3.5 in that tremor makes 400hp 500tq

Hows the ride difference? Is the raptor suspension have a lot of body roll and nose dive?
