I adored the whimsy of your creations. I also felt your pain in trying to work with such small items. It was worth it in the end. Do I dare get some walnuts and open this pandora box of creativity for myself?
If you're having trouble getting the knot where you want it for thread you can use a pin in the middle of the knot so it doesn't tighten then when you have it in the right spot you slowly pull the pin out and tighten the knot. I'm so excited to try making some of these! I already have everything except the walnuts! ❤
I made a mouse - she's a bit too big for a multi level walnut house, but she fits in the half shell. Also, she's in a skirt because I could NOT make the adorable little legs, feet and butt. So. More to learn ;-) Cheers an MORE walnut art, please!
The little dragon is my favorite!
That Alice in wonderland doll and your dragon are too precious!!! Love your tutorial. Super cute stuff!!!

I think you great
Thanks!
What are you using to connect the shells together?
I'm using a small DIY wire hinge. There's a whole separate video that shows how to make the hinge and attach it. Hope that helps!
What kind of clay do you use?
The dragon, Alice, and the tiny bigfoot are polymer clay. (I use Sculpey Premo.) The background of bigfoot's forest is air-dry clay. (I use DAS.)
Thankyou so much for sharing these videos . It’s so appreciated and you are very talented. Beautiful work ❤
It's my pleasure! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave such a nice comment!
