I gotta say, Arma getting mods for interactive cockpits for aircraft is cool, but it’ll always feel strange to use them for me seeing as I am almost always playing DCS and the thought of doing this in something other than DCS confuses my small brain.

What a way to end the video! The H-60 pack! I love it! Can't fly any H-60 if it ain't from that mod. I get picked on for crashing a lot in high stress situations but I love flying it . I went full in with this mod when learning Advanced Flight module. Truly a work of art
Bro its absolutely one of the most unique mods on the workshop. I actually submitted to AFSOC leadership that we should get out of the CV-22 business and get the V-280 Valor, but the Army just shut the program down.
after 4000 total hours and 857 mods acquired, ive come back to the most simple of all, now after all these missions i come to realize that the more simple it is the better, a few quality of life mods and some effects, thank you for helping me become more simple

A great set of mods here. A bodycam mod would be pretty cool. No Mans Land and OPCOM are also really great and I will be checking those out. As cool as the clickable cockpits are, they are way too complex for my small brain so I think I will be sticking to the Vanilla Arma startup, although the APU Startup mod could be a good in-between mod. 2 mods that I discovered from your videos and now can't live without are LAxemann's Align and Immerse, they add so much to infantry gameplay for being to simple. Overall, great modset and I am interested to see what's coming in the next months and next year, including the amazing mod that you know is coming
I think what make Arma a great game is the mod community they can gift the player so great futures and addition to the vanilla game that the developer will not or simply couldn't deliver. My thanks to all the modder out there for their work and their time. Arma for me without mods could never be the success it is right now.
Honestly what I love most about this video are all the mods you included that focus on giving a fun, open, Battlefield like experience with better AI and living active maps. I absolutely love this!
I would like to see more mods with uav/loitering and kamikaze drones. Switchblade is not only one used in this conflict and there is some really interesting weapons. Shahed 136, Lantcet or CUB. In arma not so many even reconnaissance drones. I hope modders will keep up with the times.

A add on to simple craters taken from the Army Demolition handbook could be very cool. I forget the page but basically you can use these freakishly large shaped charges (like 50 or 60 lbs) you point at the ground in a staggered formation with the larger one's being on the outside and when detonated they leave a 30 foot or deaper sheered off ledge that tanks can't get up. If they can't go around they have to set up machine guns to cover workers to dig it out. Very nasty.
hey man... i really enjoyed the east wind campaign, i thought it'd supplant operation flashpoint as my favourite bohemia campaign, but it kinda wore out after you have to... run across a... deserted city... it was super lame... that was years ago though, has the campaign been fleshed out/finished since then?

I actually like the ace medical stuff for players, but it must be a mod or DLC I use because the medical system for AI’s is ridiculous. Love shooting a unit directly with a tank round multiple times and he just patches himself and gets back up

Don't you have shadows enabled? Unless these clips are from other sources. The models in all the videos make ARMA3 look like a cheap 3d promo reel from the late 2000s.

I understand the need for alternate ACE versions like Ace but extremely based. But considering most of the features that Ace but extremely base gets rid of can just be turned off or modified in the CBA settings, I don't see a point in using it.
That’s a valid point. ACE used to not allow you to turn those off, so I’m sure this mod stemmed out of that. Plus downloading a mod with one click is easier than combing through all the settings turning shit off.
tbh, I'd prefer to see less of ACE, especially it's awful medical system. I prefer not having to pause everything for 20 minutes just to make one person in the squad not die. Some people enjoy it, but medical and the hyper-realistic shit needs the ability to be hard disabled without just removing files or downloading a superior, alternate version of the mod.

Nothing can top DCS, for sure. Having it in Arma 3 is a lot of fun though! Just adds a little more immersion for players :)

The APU mod is cool for heavies, but fighters don't have on board APUs.... They require a dash 60, or other power cart. - Former USAF Maintainer

Hey why does your nuke on fire support plus look so good, mine just makes my screen yellow or doesn't even have an effect at all.
The one from the video was a small yield nuke and thus didnt make everything immediately yellow.

Yup, my exact issue with it. Also the body armor need some work. Shouldnt take 4 rounds of 7.62 to the chest to drop a dude.
The Hatchet H-60 pack is by far my favorite mod from this list, but I don't like that you need ace to use this mod.
Gonna be honest, I don’t either. Really wish it didn’t depend on ACE, but it was built with MILSIMers in mind, so it makes sense as to why.

It’s Fire Support +, and they’re split under different modules within Zeus. A few are under the standard “Fire Support” section in Zeus.

I do, they’re set to 100m (default). Some maps get weird with shadows and GCAM.
