Great video man! I’ve been loving the new update hope to meet you sooner or later!
There is a VR game called Contractors. In this game there is a Loadout Mod called PMC and if you checked it out I'm 100% sure you be impressed. There a healing system with turnakits, bandages, splints, and AI-2 kits. There's tons of weapons and weapon systems, there's bullet types you can use including HP, AP, +P, Tracer, and FMJ. There's GLs, Binoculars you use to call in airstrikes/mortars, and even an RPG-7 but it's well balanced by using your scoreboard points instead of just spawning with ammo. It's glitchy atm but there is even NVGs now, the fact that he was able to implement NVGs into a game that never even thought about is is crazy. There's a suppression system, the scopes are amazing and render perfectly fine, there's even 3 armors. Light, standard, and heavy and with heavy you get either a riot helmet or a Altyn helmet(depending on if you are USEC or BEAR) and you can even pull down the face shield and it actually works. Again I genuinely think you'd like it maybe even enough to make a video cause that's ONLY THE PMC MOD. There's many others like starwars, Halo, Titanfall, MW2, there's even 100% fucional COD Zombies maps like kino Der toten. And that isn't even including the tons of modded maps that have been put in for example, Crossroads from BOCW, MW2 Wastelamd, and even a starwars HOTH map where engagements are 500-1500m. Oh and it all can be played with standalone too.

The background audio is amazing, not just the gunfire but the doves couing and the animals
the birds are actually a little game mechanic as well, players startle them and they fly up into the air, if you see birds fly up in the distance, there are players there. It's good fun.

Honestly dayz has been doing this for years.Only those who just kept playig arma without touching the enfusion version of Dayz doesnt know it.

Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.

I'm very impressed by how natural the terrain looks. Not completely sure why but it feels much more realistic to me than in most games.
That's because some developers build their game worlds following actual geographic laws, while others don't; that might be the case here.
Most games have environments built around micro scale balance. ARMA tries to be realistic first and foremost

Island of Altis is directly based on the real-world Greek island of Lemnos in the Aegean Sea. 2 Bohemia Interactive devs were arrested because Greek goverment thought they were spying on military installations on Lemnos

Something you might have missed about bipods: unlike Arma 3, you can actually still move around while your bipod is deployed, and you'll shift the point where your gun is resting as long as you're moving it along a relatively flat surface. Incredibly useful for finding exactly the right firing position, unlike Arma 3 where you had to just keep deploying and picking up your weapon and hope you got lucky with deploying it to a good spot.

Unfortunately the loadout save doesn't stay if your game crashes, whether it's a server or full game crash
They have a mod to address this it’s called persistent load outs. Most modded servers are using it now
Theres already mods and servers with this exact issue fixed, Its pretty good to not take 10 mins to get your loadout, Would love to have a default sets of loadouts ready to go tho!
that may have also been fixed with the update that was pushed out today
We at least come back from a crash with our character where we crashed at, so if you’re able to get back to a loadout box before dying your kits still safe
At least your rank will still be there tho, if not i would of raged quit so many times lol

3. The birds feature is so unbelievably cool and as someone who also loves DayZ, I just love seeing the progression and creativity of these Devs, great vid Drewski, excellent flank at the end too 👏

I will say my favorite part about arma reforger is that it is one of the very few games on Xbox that implements Picture in Picture scopes/dual rendering and the fact that it works so well on the game makes me wonder why it’s not in many other games. It makes me want to play the game more than any other shooter
PIP is very taxing and hard to make. It's more common than you think though. Call of Duty has it, I'm pretty sure Hell Let Loose and Insurgency: Sandstorm have it as well. Enlisted might but that game's a bit old now, so I'm not sure.
@@mcfeddle Enlisted released in 2021 and does have it. HLL's PiP is faked.
Kinda weird that CoD: Ghosts did this on 360/PS3 back in the day yet we still see a lot of overlay sights to this day.
@@mcfeddle hell let loose and insurgency sandstorm both don’t have it, atleast on series X. I prefer the “tactical” shooters the only game I know of on console to have true PiP is reforger and isonzo. Ghosts kinda had it but the full independent PiP with no zoom around the scope is such a clean look, sniping in isonzo is fantastic, if only that game wasn’t dead

Reforger has come so far since the beginning, so many great mods being worked on too.
Lately I've been consumed by the DayZ mods that are in the works, but coming back to Conflict is always a blast
videos like this is prof that open voice chat is infinitely better than chat nanny or not chat at all. let people trash talk each other, just give a clear option to disable comms or mute people.
Played this a while back after it first came out and took a break but picked it back up literally last night and was blown away with how much fun I was having. The audio is just absolutely amazing in the gun fights.

i love reforger and not because i think its an insane game or anything like ridiculous but to as someone whos played arma since 2012 to see how far it has come and formulated itself into something like reforger makes me so excited because i remeber playing arma 2 wishing there was half of the small details in it like reforger has from how your player interacts with stuff and the environment to weapon handling and by far one of the biggest things is vehicles they look absolutely out of this world compared to where we came from.
Driving vehicles is actually enjoyable!

Reforger has come a long way since its beginning - and it’s going to go an even longer way in the future.
Arma 4 is going to be amazing. And a proper DayZ 2 is just going to be ridiculously awesome.
"3BIT" (3 FMJ rounds, 1 tracer). Is the typical NATO LMG/GPMG belt. That can be tailored by the gunner if there is a high chance of fire. I have had to strip all the tracers from a belt because of high fire index. 50BMG/HMG come in all types. Such as a belt of 100 of just APIT (Armour piercing incendiary tracer).

Great video man, I've been watching your Arma content for a few months now and you've really sold me on the games. I just need to get a better setup and I'm going to try them out for sure; though maybe not Reforger quite yet, I have enough pre-release/development pain in my life already as a Star Citizen player 😅

I love how your driver at 15:45 almost exactly recreated the convoy scene from the Reforger mines trailer, only difference being you actually drifted into them instead of stopping and accidentally being pushed in by a truck behind you that had no idea you stopped.
Amazing to see Reforger develop Bohemia Interactive will always be one of my favorite developer companies, looking forward to playing this game and Squad soon someday.

There will be no tanks in Reforger from BI. Only mods. And there are plenty of tank mods available now
i dont comment often, but the fact that you made a comment about listening to ODST music and admiring the helicopters while as im watching this video and admiring the heli's with you, i'm also currently listening to an ODST ambient playlist in the background
I've felt like ArmA reforger just bungie jumped into the dark for the last year but im glad to see it back!
I can forsee some amazing operations in the future involving you guys and that gets me hype.
Excellent vid! The game is shaping up to be something really special, so many people tried it and gave up early due to its frustrating lack of stability and bugs but it seems people are now starting to take notice again, I've been playing it consistently since launch and have had an absolute tonne of fun with it and met some really great players along the way, here's hoping BI knock it out the park delivering the rest of the roadmap and concrete stability, then we have a solid Arma platform game to play until 4 is on the horizon.
Yea, I haven't tried it since the first couple of weeks because I couldn't play for more than 20 minutes without the server crashing. I did play with the mod tools, and thought they were really awesome.
I need to get back into it. Itd be cool to have some mods that work for Arma 4 as soon as it launches
I'm one of these people who are returning. Much better now, but I still get a freeze and crash about once an hour and regualr desyncs though. It's got a long way to go to actually become enjoyable (from the performance standpoint, the game itself is brillant).
I had the same love for the new suspension playing on experimental as well trying it immediatly after listening to the Devs talk about it during their 32vs32 Arland Test the other day.
Wow, really love all the details and new features I am seeing here. The future ARMA will be quite an experience.

I’ve been playin the new update nonstop mostly on pbs server it’s awesome love the new helis and logi mechanics
Its certainly getting there, all we need is some smarter ai (that can drive) and we might be able to get some good coop gameplay going.
all of the STALKER and Tarkov experience really pays off when learning Russian phrases, didn't realize Drewski was able to speak it until now
The addition of choppers to Reforger has me hoping that we'll get jets some time before Arma 4... or at least I pray Arma 4 is announced sooner than later with jets in the launch release

Why is it too much to ask for fighter jets & infantry soldiers in a combined arms game mode these days (especially with proper hotas support)?
@@Madara8989 Arma 4 will have jets. Arma Reforger was only intended to be a limited test bed for Arma 4. So they decided that offical tracked vehicles and jets are out of scope. However, there is a modded A10 in Reforger. Not sure how well it flies, though.

@@Madara8989 because fighter jets require a really large map for it to be actually viable, and nobody likes walking for 30 minutes if you're not a jet pilot
Hey drewski, have you ever heard of nuclear option? Its a sim lite near future flight sim that just released in early access, and god its amazing, and really easy to learn
its so stable now that instead of the entire server crashing and corrupting your files you just get 10-20 ppl crashing every 5-10 minutes until the server itself ceases to have any population

I started playing reforger again this week for the first time since launch, I only have about 20 hours in reforger but a couple thousand on arma 3. I honestly don’t know how much arma 3 I’ll be playing anymore. The mods have finally gotten really good and the 75th rangers public servers are amazing to hop in and play. The game feels very smooth and crashes very little now. I actually love playing the game now absolutely worth the pickup if you like old squad with better gunplay and load-out customization. But the highlight is really how amazing the gunplay is. Absolutely would recommend now and I definitely wouldn’t have on release.
It’s come a long way! It’s actually recommendable for the first time now!
I love seeing how friggin huge your channel has gotten, I remember subbing years ago just because you're Matt's little brother and he's like one of the OG gunTubers and I love his content. But after years of watching both of your channels and content, I watch so much more of you than your brother these days. Like I watch your longer videos to fall asleep too and just pick them back up later. You've cracked the code for the kind of content you create and I'm a huge fan! Keep up the good work sir!

Looking stellar so far 💪It's been some years, but I'm beyond ready to sink some more hours into the Arma series. Will be an instant buy for me once it's properly on its feet.
Be sure to check that V-Sync is turned off if you want to see the max fps. V-Sync will limit the FPS to the current refresh rate of the monitor. If your monitor has arefresh rate of 120Hz, that would explain why it's not going above 120 fps. Sometimes there's also a frame limiter option.

It is nice to see some Arma pvp. Don't see it alot casually in Arma 3. I do sometimes watch Liru's Ofcra and friday night fights, wich is large scale milsim groups pvping against each other, which is fun to watch.

Reforger is my first Arma title and I'm impressed with it. I know it's not on the level of Arma 3 just yet, but it's getting there. I've been playing Reforger nonstop as of late and I'm having fun creating CQB scenarios in game master

For me what solves the hit reg sometimes is the zero on the gun
They normally come on the highest, getting them to 100 solves

Looks like the updates are coming along nicely! All i'm waiting for is for them to add bipod mechanics before i go jumping back in. Having HMG's without bipods in a BI game just reminds me too much of all those dayz servers where you just run around hip-firing a PKM in juggernaut armor all day lol.
Got the cake when it first came out and played a bunch then but I stopped playing after a few weeks mostly from the server problems, but seeing all the progress the game made is making me want to install it again.
I played a lot on console when this first dropped and I'm surprised how better organised we were. Everyone was using radios etc. We even had people stealing enemy radios lol
I've just got this after holding out for more updates. The only problem is the lack of a player base and no team play, everyone seems to be running around doing their own death match.
