A lot of people are saying that timber means a lot of dirty things and stuff, which i guess would make sense for the song but the reason they say timber is because when construction men need to clear trees, when they're cutting them down they yell "Timber" so that everyone knows that a tree is going down, so they need to clear the area so no one gets smushed by a giant falling tree. So when ke$ha says "its going down, im yelling timber" shes basically making a cheesy pun.

When I was younger I listened to "bands" like Big Time Rush and One Direction and a lot of other pop songs... And let's just say that I cringe whenever I hear songs from 2010 to present day from pop artists.
I'm so glad I diverted my music taste to Punk-rock and punk-pop. I pretty much listen to My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, twenty one pilots, Marianas Trench, Green Day and a few other bands/singers but.. Yeah.

Tbh I hated the song before I knew the lyrics but after I read them I really love it. I thought it was about like she goes to dance clubs every night & drinks & has sex all the time & shit. But I see it differently Idk to me it seems like she does drugs to forget him & get over it & stop thinking about it. It's not like she does it for fun, it's really sad, it's her way of dealing with a hard break up & I respect that. I don't like the original song tho I listen to a metal cover by Against The Corrent I just think it's way better..

When I was younger, I used to listen to a song called "Bed Rock" - a few months ago, I heard it again and realised what the song really meant and I felt so embarrassed as when the song first came out, I used to sing it everywhere (and really loudly). I'd sing it in the house, supermarket, school etc cause' it was just so catchy at the time! Now I know why my mum used to tell me to not sing it in public....
