Just my observation, but with this POV, from my perspective, it seems like you’re driving the car a bit sideways (as the POV is not directly behind you)…

My opinion.. I liked the CAM on top of your head view.. this feels a bit off

I agree with GTR-1000's comment. The FOV is a bit disturbing. It is probably best to place your camera above your shiny head or use a helmet cam.
Loving this triple view. Can see more what you're dealing with and what you can see.
Trying to 'play along' and judge the danger in front/to the side that you need to navigate.
Dave! Love the POV videos lately. Really cool to see. What do you use to get the blinking lights on your wheel and button box when there is a car next to you? Haven't ever seen that before and it looks extremely useful.

You should try the Lovelydashboard for your wheeldash and Daniel Newman Racing LED profiles for your wheel rpm led's and wheel buttons. You get authentic rpm leds for your wheel rpm leds :)

@Dave Cam what camera are you using for recording? Is it just for recording or do you stream with it too? I'm trying to do the same angle with my triples but not exactly sure what to buy as it seems a lot of DSLR cameras are limited to 30 minutes or recording.
I did this same race last night around 11pm Eastern time. I live in new england. I literally thought this was the same race because thats exactly how the frist lap went. I started from the pits and it was like playing dodgeball lap 1 lol!

Are you serious with brake bias 43.5? I actually didn't get the concept of the brake bias so far but as a rookie, ACC sets the brake bias on the Porsche 991 to 58%. I always wondered why I couldn't brake so hard as the AI cars until I set it to 52%. Which is quite a far way considering that one click is 0.2%. But what happens if you go below 50%? Is that incident moment where you really had to counter-steer really hard because of that brake bias setting?
I also learned that apparently, I'm so slow because I don't know how to trail-brake or use the pedals to steer rather then the wheel. Sim Racing is really hard, just like learning an instrument. Where the tracks are the themes and the cars are the instruments.
My deepest respect that you select a car, jump on a track and know where you braking markers, your turing markers and your acceleration markers are for that specific track and that specific car. Really, my respect. (I barely know where to brake on Monza in the Porsche 991.)
I'm really looking forward to seeing you on some wet tracks in iRacing. This might change everything. Not only the visibility.

I might be in the minority here, but I do prefer the normal videos. These POV videos as a 1 off and on special races or something are great, but not all the time, I feel we don't get to see all the action like normal

Can anyone explain what week 13 is? I’m new to Iracing… the other day I had the Falken GT4 and Gr86 series but now it has disappeared and I have the porsche cup series. Does it rotate series every other 13th week?
The iRacing season is 12 weeks long. Week 13 arrives where all the updates and patches are applied. Iracing put on a few filler series to tide us over when maintenance is complete. Week 1 starts next week. 👍

Hmmmm - begining to wonder if I should attempt my first week 13 now or not!
Sorry, I preferred the normal videos, POV only gives a small area of the video to the track so on a small screen its too hard to watch, the majority of the screen is your wheel/ rig etc so can really feel immersed. My 2 cents
I don't like POV👎track and other cars are so tiny when i watch video on phone. Old is better🥰

I am new to iracing 😢. Is it true that the last few days of week 13, people race crazy and get more incidents? 😂😅
Some races turns out ok, but in a lot of the unofficial its a total wreckfest because there is no consequence. However you can still lodge a protest, which often leads to nothing 😂

It's a Grid Engineering RSR. Hands down the best wheel I've ever used 👍
@@davecamyt Thanks for the response….. I’ve the Gomez which is ok but I never got the clutch to do what I expected on the left paddle and it’s not nice without gloves.
Bottom line I’m just nitpicking and feeling I won’t a change and I liked the extra 2 buttons and top thumb dials and especially how the RSR lit up…
Hopefully I’ll get to race against you as I’m committed to I Racing only

Great fan of the Channel in general Dave - but really not enjoying the new POV videos - just look unrealistic and hard to watch for a long time - every thing else is great though
