This young man needs some counseling and some time to come to terms with what he has done. I don't believe he is a bad at all, and people NEED to STOP 🛑 playing with people's hearts and thinking that there won't be consequences to face. Everyone has limits, and sometimes, other people take that for granted.....never giving a thought to the consequences. This is a DANGEROUS game to play, and NOONE WINS!! The boy needs to be given a second chance if he has no prior criminal record and shows some remorse. People tend to think emotional pain can always take a backseat to logic. It is not hard to understand how arguments over infidelity and other betrayals lead to violent encounters and murders. Emotional pain takes full control especially if it's just the two people and no one to deescalate the situation. It's even worse when people deny it and that person knows the truth. So stop acting like it's unfathomable that infidelity has disastrous results. Consider David from the bible. This dude set Uriah up to be killed to cover up the fact that he got Bathesheba pregnant. Infidelity doesn't always end well because it is a dirty deed. It doesn't make it right but it is understandable.

He impregnates her and his original illogical plan was to have Uriah come home so he could sleep with his wife and think he impregnated her but Uriah, out of loyalty and dedication, stayed in battle where David would have him positioned to be killed. He had him killed to cover his adultery. In his mind it made more sense to risk a life sentence than it did to be honest. Infidelity puts people in such twisted and irrational thinking that literally anything can happen whether it's between the two in the relationship or the seasonal add on side piece
