You need to be driving arround 4 to 5000 rpm for a couple kilometers te have the full effect. Its not realy the speed that does the tune. Its the high rpm
I agree high revs on the power band does the job as they say😄 I used to go to work via the back roads because its closer but lots of stop and go driving, now I go to work using the highway although its farther but I can floor the pedal as much as I want to 😆
Wow your really having some issues. My 2010 has oil consumption issue also but it's not my daily driver so I can't really have an opinion. I also switched to non ethanol gas a year ago since the price is up there with 93 octane ethanol gas. These engines have issues but I can deal with that over the previous generations torque converter transmission issues. Might be time to let professional look at your car if you plan on keeping it. I know i'm keeping mine unless acura comes out with a big body 4 door sedan with 6 speed. I don't want any car with push button gears like i'm seeing now. I have to be a part of the driving and nothing they make now will do that. Yes the have time civic and integra but I don't like them away all. To each his own so I respect anyone that likes this new stuff but i'm old fashioned 5/6 speed dude
Hey Dent! I just recently made my TL my daily because my Toyota daily got wrecked by the wife..the TL was able to breathe more after I cleaned out my PCV valve..me too I am very particular with my fuel for the TL, 93 and no ethanol.. hoping for the best lol 🤞
@@Hashira-DD yes sir fuel now is important in any acura 93 octane. With my cl type s 6 speed once I cleaned out the ports and switched to non ethanol I noticed a difference after 2 full tanks. Sorry to hear about your wife and car. We can replace our wives but not our 6 speeds 😁. Just some humor to lighten up the day
