  • I've done a couple of shorts about making small mushrooms that seem popular so I thought I'd scale it up and make one as a garden ornament!
This tutorial shows you how to build your ceramic mushroom with each step of the way explained from start to finish.
This is a great project that combines techniques using coiling with pinch pot methods. Much of what we make with hand building is all about mixing techniques in one piece so this is good practice and great fun as you can add as much or as little decoration as you want. If you're into fairies why not add a door and window to make it into a fairy house or even create a fairy to sit on top! Whatever style you want, let your imagination guide you and make this your own breed of mushroom only found in your garden 😜
    Have fun!
