Crusty Clad. Love the seagull that was neat. Also love your commentary as you go along. Enjoyed the testing of the metals. Always feel like I have had a mini vacation watching your videos.
Hey Jamie. Yes, I still get out there, just haven't been posting. I have no plans on getting the new Manticore. Pretty sure one of the local guys will pull the trigger on one however. 👍Appreciate the comment Sir.
Great hunt Davo! Love that chain and silver heart. Good to see you trying some new video stuff too... You must have read my mind, as I got a time lapse coming in my next video ( soon as I get home)
Thanks for watching Dave. Every time I got up from the bench....I shook the camera...oops. Lesson learned. I'll be doing more for sure. It's a nice chain...junk, but looks good ...lol.
Bummer on the chain. That would have been nice, then all you’d have to find is a big gold clock to hang off of it. 😂 I’d like to know what that character means or symbolizes on that ring. Nice little 925 heart pendant. Planning on hitting Port A or the area near PINS this weekend. Water or sand. If the waters not rough. _/
Thanks for watching. Last I heard, Port A beaches were closed to vehicle traffic but may open this weekend...tidal surge from Delta kinda thing. I'll be out somewhere...not sure where yet. I think Low tides are in the evening...gotta check. GL out there.
The 800, has an additional frequency or "gold mode". It's designed for use in heavily mineralized areas and gold fields, like in a desert environment, say Arizona or similar. I have seen guys use the "gold mode" in fresh water but I haven't seen it used in salt water. The 800 also has a finer adjustment scale and user stored program capability. Most guys around here ( salt water) use a 600 and find plenty of jewelry. I'd say, unless you have a specific need for the 800, stick with the 600 and buy a good scoop ... lol. Hope my answers helped. They are both great machines. The top machines in my area are #1 NOX 600 #2 Excalibur #3 NOX 800 #4 CTX 3030 #5 Fisher CZ 21
Great finds! If this was last saturday, I was there early and removed all the pull tabs and bottle caps from the Volleyball courts for ya! Lol! Where can one find one of the Gold testing kits? Thanks Crusty and God bless!
i heard you were there. Think it was Sunday. I have a link for the test kits on the Crusty Clad website you can use. Or, this link will get you there as well. amzn.to/2Fi1016
ruclips.net/video/b0ZZ4fjtcDM/видео.html I have two vids on this topic. The link above is one of those two. Basically, on North Padre Island, your good anywhere except Mustang Island State Park and Padre Island National Seashore. Both of those places require an entry fee and boundaries are well marked/defined. Check out those vids and email me if you have additional questions or want the locations of some other beaches, not on the Island, to hunt 👍👍.
@@CrustyClad thank you so much for the information very well said. What brand do you use very hard on deciding on which brand to go with on the metal detector. Thank you so love your channel.
Hey Sean. This was at a Bay beach, not the Island. I'm waiting on winter to hit the Island again. That's when the maintenance crews stop grading the beach into the frost cut with all the heavy moving equipment. You would think with all the summer traffic the Island would be a gold mine. Well, the opposite is true. All that grading just buries anything heavy leaving only the light trash. You can get lucky for sure but, the Bay beaches are WAY more consistent during the summer months. Check my more recent vids and you'll see. Thanks for the comment 👍
Thanks for watching Soup, appreciate the support. I'll keep working on those timelapse clips. That chain looked real nice in the scoop...lol. A little too good to be real.
Trust me, I did a quick self assessment when I first saw it. Just looked too good to be real....a little too yellow. Thanks for watching and commenting GDDP. GL&HH

Happy Hunting 👋
Thanks for the comment. Yep, it looked a little "too good" ... lol. I've gotten it the habit of testing everything to confirm its stamp.
@@CrustyClad yes things that don’t look great test positive and things that look great test negative. Go figure 🤗

what's the difference between Nox 600 and 800 i only hunt in water neck deep which one should i get ?

My buddy justdigit63 on Instagram has a NOX 800. Hit him up to see if he's ever used the "prospecting" mode in salt water. 👍

Nice finds! What’s your strategy on going to the beach when it’s calm waters? Or was did it just happen to workout that way?

Sucks that chai is fake. That would have been awesome if it was real. Great hunt my friend. Congratulations on the silver charm
Thanks Mr WIG. It looked at little "too yellow" in the scoop. I'll find one eventually.

I think you should be using 6 on diamond tester, 1/2 carat and smaller
Thanks for the tip. I was never really sure how to properly set the thing...lol.
Nice hunt Dave. Shame that chain isn't the real deal image what that would be worth!?
Thanks for watching Soup, appreciate the support. I'll keep working on those timelapse clips.
That chain looked real nice in the scoop...lol. A little too good to be real.
Love your Intro and the video. Before you test any more diamonds you need to play the game operation more for practice. Don't hit the sides.😉
