As an absolute newbie (have 3 knives to date), this channel has been a gateway to building my knowledge and awareness of what is out there. Probably saved me lots of money on buying knives that might not be right for me personally. Thanks Metal Complex!
Besides the screws for the scales the Skaha is incredible, fantastic blade geometry, nice clean lines and good looking closed profile also, just a beauty.
I am SO glad that the Skaha 2 is still in your top 5. May it stay there forever! You turned me on to the Skaha 2 and I now have 7 of them. This is after I already sold 3 of them. So I had 10 Skahas last week. It is your fault. Love the videos. God Bless!
Andrew said that the 20i costs them basically the same amount to produce but he did it just to increase the volume available. I love my 20i, just waiting to buy different colored g10
The piratech kraken became my favorite knife as soon as it dropped. I liked the og version but decided to wait for black dlc and luckily I didn’t have to wait that long. Got it soon as I noticed they released it and never had a single regret. Great knife, stupid comfortable, feels really high quality and looks amazing. I’m a barber and little pieces of hair fly everywhere and get in all your pockets, all over your shirts and stuff, and having the mag snap makes it really easy to clean it out real quick.
I jumped on the waitlist for the Skaha II last year and got mine after about nine months. Time and money well spent! It’s a game changer on par with the PM2 or Sebenza in opening your eyes to quality. But you have to have it in hand to really understand it. IYKYK
Love your videos. For the old folks that can't program their VCR's Could you possibly post the name of each knife as you show it? Keep up the good work.
You are going to LOVE the Skaha 2. I have 7 of them....that's correct, I said 7. My absolute favorite knife ever. MC is the one who convinced me to get one and the rest is history. Enjoy!
@@L2EDC I honestly don’t remember ever I saw it first. It was years ago. I have a feeling it’ll get my padre out of my pocket for the first time since it came in
@@Sleepy_spartan717 - Please keep me posted when you receive it and how well you like it. I always wonder if anyone loves the Skaha as much as I do or if it is just me. Thanks
I'm kind of impressed by the fact that the skaha made it, it's been out for a while in s35vn, nice that the last one is in magnacut. That says something! I've got their mallard and i'm really living it, maybe one day i'll get one.
Fan for a while. I keep waiting for you to two-finger throw-slap that leather placard to the table, in the same vein as any cow-patty-talking Spades or Hearts player. There should probably be a mini-series where you absolutely commit to that endeavor. I’d watch. 😂
Every weekend when i head out the door with the family i open the knife drawer and almost every time, lately my blue matter fat carbon Skaha 2 is the one i grab. Its soo good.
I've been carrying the pyrite lite too. I thought it would feel kind of cheap but I didn't realize it was solid steel under the scales. It's my first button lock and I wasn't expecting great things but the detent feels great, very fidgety.
I thought the same about button locks and caged bearing knives but after some time carrying they really don't compete to your average pb axis/compression lock
I work in a shop with mass metal particles everywhere...like , floating in the air. So anything with magnets , including flashlights is a big no no for me.😐 Impossible to get or keep metal particles out of.
I’ve found it really interesting how taste changes over time. I used to hate anything that wasn’t solid metal. Now I picked up one of the new Adamas in carbon fiber and have changed my mind.

MC, what is the logic behind more companies not using premium steel and as inexpensive everything else as possible. Within reason of course. Especially in terms of scale materials.
Do NOT take the Remette Swordfish fully apart unless you're willing to spend hours doing so. ONLY take the 4 screws out and the screws on the blade. Going any further is PAIN and SUFFERING.

I love my SKAHA 2!!!!!
What a lost opportunity to call it the “pylite”

The north arm skaha 2 in magnacut is excellent. I proudly own one! 😊
I was lucky enough to buy a piratech kraken 😊

My favorite was the kraken
I told myself i needed to pause buying knives for a bit, but whew, that Kraken has my attention.
Pyrite light really is a great knife. And I agree on the action. Got one for 30 bucks, solid lock up, excellent action, and completely centered.
Mine are the flytanium arcade, an Elementum , Qsp penguin and the mini Osborne.

I really enjoy my Skaha II. Great recommendation.
I can not WAIT until my Skaha II shows up! Just a few more weeks, hopefully!
I just ordered my skaha 2 a couple of weeks ago in the same spec. Weave carbon and magnacut. Should be a perfect user.

We need more spay blades like the Kraken. Very utilitarian.
Also, this was a fun video.
I been carrying the BM narrows lately and absolutely loving it!!!
Just a joke manix LW in spy27 for the summer.
I may have to plan order for a Skaha even though I hate waiting.
The first knife is amazing as is second. I have an XL pyrite, I love it's size and blade geometry
#1) Sencut Sachse
#2) Ontario Rat2 D2
#3) Spyderco PM2 CruWear
#4) Civivi Elementum in Damascus
#5) Petrified Fish Beluga
Mine are Spyderco manix 2 LW, kunwu pulsar, cold steel ad10, oknife ruboto 4, reate Exo-U.
That 20i and Skaha are bangers. Thanks for the vid!
I'll tell you what I am super impressed with CJRB knives I own a handful of them. Such great quality knives.

The only thing keeping my from having a skaha (and I’ve wanted one for years) is the $8 up charge for being a lefty. I refuse out of principle.
That's ridiculous! For a pricey folder, a lefty option should be priced exactly like the righty. Nonsense!

Is it all just about being able to charge incrementally more money?
Did you see the AD20i with the damascus blade and ti scales?
But the balance is important to !! ^^
Do NOT take the Remette Swordfish fully apart unless you're willing to spend hours doing so.

So many knives hard to keep track
I want a piratech
Would you still use the Piratech knife if it didn't have the cool Kraken logo on it?
Of course
Yeah, the Kraken, I don't carry at work.
I run a laser at work. And it fills up with ironoxide, (rust)..😆

@kokosnh1170 what im saying is, you should have returned it and had them replace it before you used a screwdriver on it.
I like the Top 5 Top 10's. But man I miss the Knife Guy
AR RPM9 is not equivalent to 9CR... this was proven by Dr Larrin Thomas
